Ku-Juey Raymond Chang,Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Chang is a caring and intelligent physician. He gives you plenty of time. He is very knowledgeable about a variety of conditions. This is important for an internist. And then, you get passed off to his PA. His PA Komeko Oshiro, is fantastic! She is so empathic and she is available pretty much whenever you need her. She was at Memorial Care and saw my name on the ER list. She came to see me and I had not called her. Again she was caring and concerned. So either way, I highly recommend this practice.

Both my husband and I are patients of Dr. Chang. From the first visit, he provided clear explanations and took the time to address our concerns. We both left the office feeling confident about our long term care plan. Mina his assistant, is friendly, sweet and promptly follows up with any questions we may have, we cannot thank Dr. Chang enough for the excellent care he had provided us, and even though we live out of state, we are willing to travel to see him. We are very lucky we are his patients.

This review will detail my experience with Dr. Raymond Chang over the last two decades; yikes and wow! First and foremost, I am honored to write that Dr. Raymond Chang is my Endocrinologist. My hospital visits were many during the onset of Sheehan's Syndrome, aka Hypopitutiary journey. I quickly learned that some endocrinologists did not take the time to hear my concerns. Fortunately, an on-call doctor walked into my hospital room, Dr. Chang. At the hospital, I asked Dr. Chang if he could consider being my Endocrinologist. I am grateful that I could be a new patient with Dr. Chang—my first visit with Dr. Chang was over an hour. He did not take my concerns lightly nor treat me like a patient going through a fast food line. These are some of Dr. Chang's highlights I have learned over the past two decades: Dr. Chang is a caring, brilliant medical expert. In addition to being an Endocrinologist, Dr. Chang is a Nephrologist. Dr. Raymond Chang has impressively navigated my healthcare with other medical specialists. Dr. Chang authored an MCAT study guide; impressive! Dr. Chang is open to suggestions and input. His four remarkable words- I do not know, give me relief and hope. My body may be ahead of science. Dr. Chang is a loving family man. Dr. Chang saved my mother's thyroid gland by quickly seeing her as a new patient and sending her to a surgeon for a second opinion. My mom's first surgeon wanted to remove her entire thyroid gland. Fortunately, the surgeon referred by Dr. Chang could remove half of her thyroid gland. With half a thyroid gland, my mom can produce sufficient thyroid hormones. As I have grown with Dr. Chang, so has his office. I began my medical visits with Dr. Chang in a shared medical office in Lake Forrest. Today, Dr. Raymond Chang has several locations, and his Laguna Hills location has numerous medical specialists. I have read some negative reviews about Dr. Chang's medical services, and most poor reviews miss the point that most concerns my health care: medical expertise. Dr. Chang hires highly regarded doctors, and Dr. Chang's medical knowledge is incredible! Due to Dr. Chang's wisdom, his offices have grown, and so has his front office. As in any business, the front office can be challenging to navigate. I would never penalize a doctor's rating due to the actions of his receptionist. My concern is quality care, and Dr. Chang delivers that to me.

I can't say more great things about Dr. Chang. He is a true expert in this field and he makes you feel comfortable when in his office. I appreciated the way he explained things to me where most Dr.s simply won't take the time. Dr. Chang went above and beyond for my care and I am forever grateful. His staff is very hard working and kind. Very pleased with the entire experience and now on the road to recovery. Thank you for everything SCKE and Dr. Chang.

Horrible office and physician. Failed to call back multiple times. Poor up to date standard of care

Horrible Office! As a physician requested appointment twice! No call back. Very unprofessional and found out Dr. Chang's is not even up to date with the literature. So no loss. But very upset how they handle a physician colleague, completely ignored.

Dr. Chang is the blood pressure EXPERT. I have been in and out of the hospital recently due to my blood pressure. I have seen many doctors and none of them were able to get my blood pressure under control. I saw Dr. Chang and he was able to take great care of me. He really did save my life

I am thrilled that a friend recommended Dr. Chang to me. He's made a heck of difference to my life of recent. He pointed out to me that I was prescribed another medication that was not good for me by my previous general practioner. I had been on that medication for at least 10 years. It made me 'feel like I was in a 90 year old's body ( I am 63). All my joints were achy and sore. I even was scheduled for knee surgery which I cancelled as every since he prescribed me the right medication, I've never felt better!!!! Today, I felt like a 40 year old instead of a 90 year old, going up and down the stairs! He was very thorough with my visit, lab test etc...I never felt rushed. Had I not gone to him, I would have never known. I knew there was something up as I play a lot of tennis and none of my friends of the same general age felt as bad as I did. Thank you so much Dr. Chang!!!!

Scam I was charged $50 even though I got a stomach flu an hour before my appointment and when I called they said they didn't care and would charge me $50 anyways.

This is a physician of excellence who cares about his patients. Dr. Chang has saved my father and helped me repeatedly. He is a healer who surrounds himself with quality professionals. I am so grateful for Dr Chang and his SCKE clinic (PA J Jones is great). The option to get blood drawn on-site is very convenient. I highly recommend Dr. Chang as an endocrinologist/nephrologist and his walk-in clinic.
