I highly recommend Dr. Curcio and her team at Nuvance Health in the Hudson Valley for competent and compassionate breast cancer care.

Dr. Curcio is a highly-skilled surgeon, a compassionate doctor, and the person I choose to send my closest friends and family to if they were facing the life-changing decisions I had to when I was faced with breast cancer. She has walked in our shoes and stands beside each of us no matter our journey. Dr. Curcio and her staff were there every step of the way, explaining,offering choices and an understanding, patient ear. She was never in a rush and actually suggested observation as the first option when I was ready to "get it over with". She was right. Her superior surgical skills allowed me to have an excellent outcome ten years later and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Dr. Curcio. God put you in my path and I will be forever in your debt.

Dr. Curcio is amazing.. I was referred to her by a friend as a second opinion for breast cancer. She listened and explained everything to me and took her time with me. She made me feel safe in a very scary time. She has been a true God send to me. She transferred to another practice and I followed her. Highly recommend her!!

I don't know the words to express my gratitude and appreciation of Dr. Curcio. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June, she spent over an hour explaining everything to me. I felt in very capable hands. Now, 2 months post op, I am back to normal activities cancer free. Dr. Curcio is a breast cancer survivor herself and it was very reassuring that she really understood the concerns I had. She has a great sense of humor and I feel like she is a friend. I was shocked at how little the insurance company paid her for saving my life, $1222! I would've paid a lot more than that for the excellent care I received.

My breast cancer diagnosis was quite a surprise, no family history, etc. Dr Curcio was very compassionate & empathetic, but at the same time very honest, which is what I prefer. I’m not a cryer, I’m a give me the facts & let’s deal with this kind of person. (However my cancer was stage 1, also I am 61, so I can’t say that if I was younger or if this was stage 3 or 4, I might not have been a bit teary.) I felt she left no stone unturned as far as my genetic background as well as the tumor pathology- which turned out to be aggressive. I am extremely confident in Dr Curcio, her training/background is great- & l would highly recommend her. My only complaint would be I often wait over 30 mins past my scheduled appt time to see her- but she’s worth it! I know she’s very busy.

I consider myself lucky to have Dr. Curcio as my doctor. She spent time explaining everything to me. She is very calming, though forthright, and she worked closely with all my doctors. Both she and her staff are incredibly professional and compassionate. I wouldn’t see anyone else.

Dr. Curcio performed a colonectomy on me in 2005, prior to her specialization in breast cancer. To put it bluntly, she was part of a chain of wonderful doctors that God put into my life. I am told that she performed my surgery on little sleep and once she started she encountered much more than she expected. She gave me the news later that evening that my stage 3 cancer was actually stage 4. However, she was honest and straightforward in her dealings with me. I highly recommend her

I had breast cancer 7 years ago and was lucky enough to go to Dr. Curcio. She is caring, considerate, thoughtful, proactive. It made the whole experience much better having her involved. If you are heading down this road, you will be in good hands with her. Good luck and God bless.
