I highly recommend Dr. Curcio and her team at Nuvance Health in the Hudson Valley for competent and compassionate breast cancer care.

Dr. Curcio is a highly-skilled surgeon, a compassionate doctor, and the person I choose to send my closest friends and family to if they were facing the life-changing decisions I had to when I was faced with breast cancer. She has walked in our shoes and stands beside each of us no matter our journey. Dr. Curcio and her staff were there every step of the way, explaining,offering choices and an understanding, patient ear. She was never in a rush and actually suggested observation as the first option when I was ready to "get it over with". She was right. Her superior surgical skills allowed me to have an excellent outcome ten years later and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Dr. Curcio. God put you in my path and I will be forever in your debt.

Dr. Curcio is amazing.. I was referred to her by a friend as a second opinion for breast cancer. She listened and explained everything to me and took her time with me. She made me feel safe in a very scary time. She has been a true God send to me. She transferred to another practice and I followed her. Highly recommend her!!

After having surgery, I would not see anyone other than Dr. Curcio. So professional, knowledgeable and kind.

"A surgeon that didn't cut you up, what are the odds?" My lactation consultant suggested Dr Curcio for breastfeeding complications (recurring mastitis turned into abscess that required several rounds of aspiration to heal). I'm so grateful her team made time to treat me even though it was over the holidays. She has an awesome sense of humor and used a treatment approach that allowed me to continue partially breastfeeding while healing.

I don't know the words to express my gratitude and appreciation of Dr. Curcio. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June, she spent over an hour explaining everything to me. I felt in very capable hands. Now, 2 months post op, I am back to normal activities cancer free. Dr. Curcio is a breast cancer survivor herself and it was very reassuring that she really understood the concerns I had. She has a great sense of humor and I feel like she is a friend. I was shocked at how little the insurance company paid her for saving my life, $1222! I would've paid a lot more than that for the excellent care I received.

My breast cancer diagnosis was quite a surprise, no family history, etc. Dr Curcio was very compassionate & empathetic, but at the same time very honest, which is what I prefer. I’m not a cryer, I’m a give me the facts & let’s deal with this kind of person. (However my cancer was stage 1, also I am 61, so I can’t say that if I was younger or if this was stage 3 or 4, I might not have been a bit teary.) I felt she left no stone unturned as far as my genetic background as well as the tumor pathology- which turned out to be aggressive. I am extremely confident in Dr Curcio, her training/background is great- & l would highly recommend her. My only complaint would be I often wait over 30 mins past my scheduled appt time to see her- but she’s worth it! I know she’s very busy.

Dr c saved my life 13 years ago and may have to do it again. She is so wonderful and caring. No one else compares.

I consider myself lucky to have Dr. Curcio as my doctor. She spent time explaining everything to me. She is very calming, though forthright, and she worked closely with all my doctors. Both she and her staff are incredibly professional and compassionate. I wouldn’t see anyone else.

I was referred to Dr. Curcio several years ago from my primary doctor. I was in my thirties and my insurance would not allow a breast MRI. I have a family history of breast cancer and have already had a few benign lumps discovered not to mention dense breast. Dr Curcio put me on a screening schedule tailored to my family history and my personal risk. It was because of this that my cancer was found early. From that first phone call to each stage of the treatment plan I felt supported. She took the time to explain everything and ensured I understood what my options were. I am forever thankful to Dr Curcio.
