My Rating is for Dr Teymoorian the glaucoma Specialist..<br>I had to cataract surgeries June 4,2020 and several weeks later the other was done....It was also able to clean up my glaucoma. Dr. Teymoorian is caring, professional, listens to his patient and has excellent staff....especially Amy who sets all your surgery appts & info‼‼<br>You never feel like Dr T is rushing in and then on to the next patient. You are his main priority. <br>He also took care of my 88 yr old mother for five years<br>and personally wrote a sympathy note when she passed. <br>I would highly recommend Dr. T... For his excellent skill as well as his bedside manner... Thank you Dr. T
Got 20/20 vision for 2020 and couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Choi and her team educated me on the PRK procedure and process. The team made me feel really comfortable and Harvard eye did an amazing job of keeping things moving during a pandemic. Wish I would have got the surgery a lot sooner! Highly recommended getting Lasik or PRK.
Update: after my review on yelp, the office called and severed me as a patient. FYI. I had to find another Ophthalmologist. And did, with pleasure.
I went to see Dr. Levy a couple of years ago when I first started having issues with my vision. He was very thorough with the examination and explained everything in detail. I have recommended him to everyone I know and they all praise him.
Not a good choice for routine eye check. And no myopia treatment can be provided. <br><br>I took my son to this place based on good reviews here. First of all, it took the front desk more than 30 mins to figure out my insurance coverage after I talked to the VSP service line. <br><br>The check was just a routine check for vision, back of the eye image, color blindness test. And the charge is $402. After finding out my son is nearsighted, the doctor simply referred us to another doctor in a different optometry, without even discussing the options or need for any treatment. <br><br>We went to the referred optometry today, and was told the previous check result cannot be used even though it's within 2 weeks. Another check, which insurance refuse to cover. More items were checked, and the charge is $179. <br><br>Why did I even go to Harvard Eye, got robbed $400 and thrown to another place to go over everything again? ? I will never go back. You better not go for the first time.
I have had cataract surgery in both eyes within the past two months, and I must say that the actual surgery is a piece of cake! I was given a sedative prior to surgery and did not know or feel a thing. Everyone at Alicia Surgery Center and at the office is very kind and professional, and I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Teymoorian and his staff.
I respect everyone's time and I would really appreciate if Harvard Eye would respect mine. I had a recent visit and arrived 20 minutes before appointment to fill out paperwork. Turned in paperwork 5 minutes before appointment and the wait began. I don't know if the fact I didn't express interest in all their bells and whistles or they were merely confused. Patients arriving after my appointment were taken first. Bottom line was it took 2 1/2 hours for a simple eye exam. Total time spent with doctor was 1517 minutes. The rest of the time I was sitting.
A big shout out and yelp for Katie in the Laguna Hills facility.<br>On the evening of July 7, I discovered I couldn't see out of my<br>right eye. I was able to be seen in the office next day. <br>It was a huge surprise to hear the diagnosis. Needing more clarity<br>and definition, I requested my records. I asked they be sent to my<br>daughter who is in the same field up north. <br>Although it could have been a few weeks obtaining the records, Katie made it happen. She's an employee that went above and beyond. <br>Harvard Eye Institute is quite fortunate to have her on their staff, as well<br>as Stacy who was responsible for the transcription. <br><br>Sherry Nolan
I am a T1D susceptible to eye issues. I have good control of my condition but after 20+ years I began to see complications. I was very stressed, scared, uncertain about what the future would be like having retinopathy. Dr. Brian Kim was amazing from my first appointment he took the time to answer all my questions. He said my condition was borderline of watching it and treating it. Being 27 years old I wanted to be aggressive and treat it after consulting the pros and cons. The procedure itself was extremely simple and 100% painless. I was on a treatment plan of 23 injections but ended up only needing one. I feel I have found a great doctor I can trust and will be coming back for years to come. Also the new office is great much more spacious and easier to get in and out.
This review is for Dr. Jacobs.<br><br>I have very recently had blepharoplasty surgery performed by Dr. Jeffrey Jacobs. I found this man to be extremely knowledgable, and incredibly kind. He is truly gifted in his craft. He had removed a cyst on the very corner of my eyelid in March and did a wonderful job. I then pursued him for my blepharoplasty. Not only can I see better, I look about 10 years younger!! and its only been a week!!<br><br>He listens to you, he recommends what he feels is the best possible choice for you. My incision is flawless and the surgery was Not painful at all. His assistant Amanda is great. She is a true asset to his practice. <br><br>I would highly recommend Dr. Jacobs for any of your eyelid/oculoplastic needs. This man is a life changer. His standards are high and my surgery experience was amazing. I seriously cannot thank him enough! You will Not be disappointed!!
My drivethrough clinic experience with Dr. T was amazing. He is such a friendly, experienced and wonderful director, the drivethrough process is very well managed and very safe.
Dr. H performed my pterygium and pinguecula removal. Initially, my consultation was in Feb. 2020. Surgery was postponed (Covid19) and rescheduled for June 2020. <br>Surgery was on 6/17/20. I am postop 7 days, and feeling great. Procedure was easy in/out, max 1 hr. and the next two days included napping and eye drops. <br>Postop recheck appt. was very quick, and everything is healing nicely. I am so glad to have found THE expert for this particular issue. My regular Opthamologist told me that "no one removes pterygiums"<br><br>You need to know that the wait times in the office can be very long. I waited over an hour for a 5 minute recheck. After making the effort to be on time, it is disappointing to wait around, as well as the impact on the rest of my personal schedule for the day. The feel of the practice is not small and cozy. There is a lot going on at Harvard Eye.<br><br>Overall, I am very satisfied with the procedure. I would do it again if needed. Dr. H. and his medical staff are experts and I felt complete confidence in them.
As a local physician, I have known the doctors of Harvard Eye for decades. Their competence and patient care is second to none. Both my wife and I have had multiple surgeries and ongoing care from their offices, both in Laguna Hills and San Clemente. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They have specialists in every area, and can meet all your needs. I'm just recovering from recent cataract surgery with outstanding results! Couldn't be happier!!!
My wife and I have been going to Harvard Eye Associates for several years for glasses, cataracts, retinal occlusions etc. We have found them to be caring and very professional. My wife is scheduled to have her second cataract operation and just this week we went in for all the preop measurements and arrangements. The woman handling all of this, Amy, is extremely professional and explains the procedure in completely understandable terms. She is very good at what she does.<br><br>We have found all the doctors there likable and competent, We would highly recommend Harvard Eye Associates to anyone needing eye care.
I was an emergency patient and saw the handsome Dr. Brian Kim. He was so pleasant and informative. He made me feel at ease and really took the time to sit down and explain my diagnosis to me. Not to mention the wonderful staff who were so friendly. Special mention to Tiffany Tran, Danielle, Michelle and Celia for making the process just absolutely wonderful. 10/10 best ophthalmology practice in Orange County!!!!
I'm five days past my cataract operation on my right eye by Dr.Teymoorian, & I couldn't be happier. I knew what to expect because I viewed 3 operations on the internet, in addition to the Doctors description of the operation. Both were very helpful! I had no pain, just a little discomfort of the upper & lower eye lid, which was gone by the next day. The first amazing realization, when the medication wore off was the color change of objects. The yellowing was gone from the right eye. Never knew how yellow the cataract was. I had the single lens installed, & it's incredible. I can watch TV without glasses even though I only have 1 new lens. I'll be getting glasses only for computer work & reading. Also no more night driving with glare or stars from oncoming cars or stop lights. Looking forward to having my left eye lens replaced in 2 weeks. Easy & you won't be disappointed!
If your considering cataract surgery this is the place you need to go to!<br>Dr. Teymoorian is the best. Having done both eyes over the past year and half, I can tell you first hand, it's a painless procedure, the recover last about 2 weeks, with eye drops to help the healing process. After the procedure it's amazing what your eyes have been missing, bright whites and amazing colors!
Dr. T is terrific and his staff is too! Don't hesitate to get your pressures checked, nor just your regular eye exams. They're extremely clean, following proper protocols and as usual, very friendly and kind! Your eye health is very important, don't be nervous to go in for an appointment. Great experience as usual!
Dr. Jeffrey L. Jacobs is an absolutely amazing doctor.<br>I came in for a small procedure and Dr. Jacobs was hands down the nicest, most caring, patient, and wellspoken doctor I've ever seen. He really cares about his patients, goes above and beyond, and is a breath of fresh air. Additionally, the office was beautiful, the frontstaff and medical assistants were really kind and very organized.
Dr T. <br>Can thank you whole heartedly for taking such great care of me for my just completed Cataract<br>Surgery.<br>The experience was total well handled from Amy in Pre op meetings, Lori at the surgery center, the nurses all were caring reassuring and efficient.<br><br>Anyone selecting this highly professional group, can take this to heart. <br>A great experience absolutely a 5 star (painless) experience !
