I cant give Dr Evans enough praise. This doctor saved my moms life a few years ago (this review is way overdue!) My mom had an emergency surgery to repair a perforated bowel. It was a complicated surgery and we didnt expect my mom to live.... but thanks to Dr Evans... she did! Im eternally grateful for her skill and kindness!
Dr. Evans is a brilliant surgeon! She is extremely dedicated and saved my life. She is highly skilled and caring. I cant say enough positives about her.

very knowledgeable, she explain my surgery and everything I was going to expect. She reinsure me, I was very nervous, after having stomach ache for 1 week end up I had appendicitis ready to Burts.I didn’t have the commun symptoms
Office visits were a nightmare. First time I went, she wanted to inspect my insides without anyone telling me to prep and starts complaining it's somehow my fault, she cannot see anything and is really rough. So, the surgery date comes around and it's supposed to be a routine laparoscopy and I wake up to find laparoscopy wounds and she also opened me up. Anyways, five years down the road, the cancer spread to my liver without lymph node involvement. Tells me it went through my blood supply. I can only guess that was related to her failure to have a proper office visit and figure out the right way to do it in the first place. Insult to injury, during a follow up office visit after the surgery, she comes in and asks in a cruel tone "Why are you here?". I said, I suppose a follow up. She says there is nothing to follow up, goes to the front and tells the front desk "Don't schedule him again". I can understand if I said or did something to deserve this treatment, but it was completely uncalled for. The only hospital Nora Evans belongs in is a mental hospital.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer just before Christmas last year. I went through the different tests necessary and ended up having surgery Feb 12 with Dr Nora Evans. It was only a lumpectomy but I was still nervous because my sister died with breast cancer years ago so when they woke me up and she was smiling when she visited me before release, I knew it was good news. Thank you so much Dr Evans. My time with recovery was so easy and Im sold with her no matter what comes after this. Shes great.

I've been seeing Dr. Evans for 10 years now and have had excellent service from her and her staff. I would highly recommend her.

This place is ALWAYS ALWAYS over book. Front desk is in constant chaos trying to manage so many clients at once. I do not recommend this place. Doctors are always spending little time w us because they are trying so hard to get numbers. I don’t feel welcome. The front desk and the manager are well trained to give people excuses.

I went in for a simple gallbladder surgery and it was completely botched. I spent two weeks fighting for my life at UCLA after they did their best to repair the botched surgery. I consider myself very lucky to have survived and to have had such wonderful doctors at UCLA. If you have a good experience with her then I am happy for you but I feel people should be educated so they can make their own decisions. I wish someone had warned me.
