BEST CARE I have ever received Dr. Mendelsohn is honestly the best doctor for me and that I have ever had. I got in with her on a whim at 39 years old with my first pregnancy. I am pretty straightforward and direct woman, and I prefer the same type of communication. She is very informative and to the point. Gives educated opinions and advice, and spends quality time educating me. I usually have no questions to even ask at the end of my appointment. Ultimately, she has given this pregnancy the best care I could have ever wanted. I appreciate her non-judgmental approach and her overall knowledge and care. I highly recommend Dr. Mendelsohn.

She makes you feel like she is a personal friend After my first visit with Dr Mendelsohn 10 years ago I was surprised to learn I had breast cancer after an annual mammogram. Literally within 10 minutes of receiving that call, Dr Mendelsohn called me, and in her down to earth manner started me on the road to treatment. Since then, I have found her to always be a great listener and a terrific advisor. She explains everything in a calm manner, and she asks all of the right questions.Last year I found out that Dr Mendelsohn is out of my insurance network, yet I cannot bring myself to consider switching providers. It is worth it to see her and pay 'out of pocket.' I am not a wealthy person, but there are some things that go beyond the value of money, and treatment with Dr Mendelsohn is one of those rare gems. I have recommended her to friends and they all report the same.

She is THE BEST dr you can find in California. I had my first baby pregnancy care with Dr. Mendelsohn and I was confident that she is knowledgeabl, professional and kind.

I was a patient of Dr. Mendelsohn for nearly 30 years...she was always wonderful, kind, patient, and thorough. I saw her every year for my annual wellness exam. Then along came Covid and I missed a year and the next year I had surgery thereby missing another year. I called for an appointment and was told that I would need to be treated as a new patient and could only have late afternoon appointments. This was very difficult for me: I am 80 years old, no longer drive on the freeway and take care of my husband, who has Alzheimer's. The inflexibility of her scheduling and treatment of me after 30 years was and is difficult to understand. She is an excellent doctor who I highly recommend but I can no longer use her services.

I would give 100* if i could. Dr Mendelsohn is the best pbgyn you can ever find, i was suffering from infertility and went to different obgyns before, they never took me seriously and wasted so many months. Dr Mendelson took me seriously and started treatment right away, she would even call me during off hours to make sure im not wasting any months during my fertility journey. She prescribed me medication which helped me to get pregnant right away, she had this motherly touch to how she treats her patients. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you are her patient. When i was pregnant she warned me about my low pap a level and prescribed me baby aspirin, she took all my concerns very seriously, she always answers my concerns and questions within few hours, she used to personally call me during after hours if there is any important message, she scheduled multiple nst and growth ultrasounds to make sure im not hitting preeclampsia, during one of the nst test they found protein in my urine and high blood pressure so i was sent straight to L&D to get evaluated on 38w3d and started induction, she saved my life by scheduling all these appointments because she never takes even a small medical abnormality for granted. I never had to stress about anything because i completely trusted her and felt very safe under her supervision. Im forever grateful ro Dr Mendelsohn for everything.

Misdiagnosed me and I’m a registered nurse. She point blanked asked me if I was at her office for pain medicine because I said that my 12cm fibroid sitting on my bladder and rectum caused me pain. Gotta love a good stereotype. Then she went on to say that female pain is just part of being a woman. Horrible person!

Dr. Mendelsohn is the best. She is experienced, decisive, and direct, and also very compassionate and caring. She commands a lot of respect with her staff and other doctors, and as a result she gets ish done! She’s the best. As another reviewer put it, 5 stars is not enough!

My wife started bleeding out after her childbirth and Dr Mendelsohn rushed her into emergency surgery. I was so distraught and she put her hands on my shoulders and said, "I'm very very good at this." Then Dr Mendelsohn saved my wife's life. She's made us a family and I will forever be Grateful. Thankful for everything

Dr Mendelsohn is simply the best. She has been taking care of me for 12+ years. Very knowledgeable and detail oriented.
