I booked an appointment with Dr. Sy months in advance and his staff waited until the day before to call me to let me know that they decided to take another patient instead of me and that I lost my appointment. update: I've talked to 4 different people after calling that number and everyone has been less then helpful. Then they offered me an appointment 5 additional months out after already waiting 4 months for the appointment.

Dr. Sy is great. However, the facility where he does his colonoscopies in (Memorialcare Digestive Care Center) is the absolute worst. I love Dr. Sy and his staff but until they get out of this absolutely horrible facility with some of the most incompetent front office staff that I have ever encountered, I will, unfortunately, be taking my business elsewhere. Thank you. 5 stars for Dr. Sy. 1 star for Memorialcare Digestive Care Center (see separate review elsewhere)

Three years ago I had a colonoscopy with Dr. Sy. He is a very compassionate man. It was suggested that I have another colonoscopy this year. It was suggested that I had a more intense anesthesia for this next colonoscopy. Between 6-8 phone calls with this office, Angela the nurse was progressively more rude. I am not sure if it is COVID related but I feel she is sick of her job. I asked direct questions and I only received nebulous responses. I am looking for another doctor.

Dr. Sy has been my gastroenterologist for many years and I credit him and his nurse, Andrea Green with saving my life. They are two of the finest professionals I have had the pleasure to know and good fortune to be a recipient of their critical care.
