Just had surgery here, the entire staff went above and beyond in taking care of me. They continually checked on me and my comfort level and kept me laughing. Very compassionate people with respect towards your incapacity after sugery. These girls seriously deserve a raise. The facility was super clean. Zero complaints.

When surgery goes well, it’s easy to credit the surgeon. A bit of thought brings to mind the anesthesiologist who provided the unseen benefit of safe and restful sleep during the procedure. Dr. Heropolous chatted with me before the procedure, explaining that I’d be a bit deeper asleep than during my cataract surgeries and was attentive and pleasant throughout. Thanks, Dr. Heropolous!

They used laxatives instead of anesthesia, I ended up having explosive diarrhea all over the operating room. 5/5 would recommend

Had a surgery here not too long ago. Place was clean, stuff was friendly and helpful. I felt loved and cared for. Price was not bad! I would have given 5 stars but there was one thing it really bothered me, the nurses kept talking about food!!! And come on some of us are hungry and in pain- like for me, that’s why I was having a surgery to find out why I’m having some many digestive issues. I don’t think they do it intentionally they were just happy people sharing recipes :/)

Dr Salma Aziz is in my opinion, thee best surgeon ever, no doubt. The staff at her office are fantastic too. Everyone treats you like you’re important and I really think that kinda stuff is important 👌🏽 The staff at the Surgery center are absolutely fantastic too. Put me at total ease on the day of my surgery and we’re 100% the whole time. I’m so grateful to everyone. 🙏🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

!!! WARNING !!! Horrible place to have surgery done!

I was a bit nervous going into my procedure after seeing the 1-star review. I don't know if having a procedure vs. surgery makes a difference, but I had a wonderful experience with my lumbar sympathetic nerve block. My doctor was late to the facility so was behind schedule and I was waiting longer than expected, but everyone checked on me periodically and kept me updated. I was a nervous wreck when I first went back to get prepped and Julie S. was so sweet. She talked to me a lot and made me feel better. Julie also did a really great job putting in my IV-- I barely felt it even though it was the back of my hand! Paula also helped pre-op and was very friendly. Applionia, one of the OR nurses, came to speak with me a couple of times and was really nice, as was Laura the other OR nurse. I really appreciated Dr. Mizutani, the anesthesiologist, describing the procedure and what to expect when it came to the sedation. He has an excellent bedside manner. I have had a lot of procedures and been to plenty of doctors, not always having a good experience, or having that 1 person you did not like while everything else was fine. Every single person here though was so friendly, caring, and professional. It was a great environment and you could tell that everyone was friendly with one another, which in turn fosters a good relationship with us, the patients. I would not hesitate to go back to this center for a procedure in the future. I don't know if I would have surgery here, but that is not a mark against the staff at Laguna Niguel; it is a personal preference because of my other health conditions to have surgery at a hospital.

I am old enough to have had plenty of these out-patient surgeries, and I am a physician so I might look at these places a little differently than others might. They provided me with fantastic service from the pre-operative registration all the way through to receiving my final bill. They have an outstanding operation- many, many thumbs-up.
