Did not spent anytime explaining or showing my MRI report why I was having back pain. Was very cryptic and even his staff was not very cooperative. Did not give any good guidance about next steps. Will not recommend anyone going to this place for any health related issues.

Have had neck pains for the last 3 weeks. Was referred to Dr. Johnson by my primary physician. Came in for a quick check up. Was told that I would be referred to a local office for physical therapy. It’s been 5 days. Haven’t heard back. My pain is still there and not getting much better. Oh well might have to drink some more tequila to numb the pain.

Total 6 min spent with him. Super rushed conversations. I had provided my xray and mri to the people at the front desk. He didn't even pull them up when he came into the room to talk to me. He said he looked at them already, and right away started talking about how simple of a surgery it would be to fix my issues and that id be up and back to normal in 4/6 weeks.Within next month, i went on to see other doctors and found out that the simple surgery he was talking about was not even an option for me.

Felt like a number. Wasn’t impressed with Dr. Bryce Johnson at all. Just wants to refer you to someone else and get you out of the office ASAP.

Was very impressed with Dr. Johnson. He was thorough in our discussion of my back issues and recommended a course of treatment that we both agreed upon. I liked him very much and would whole heartedly recommend him to others who suffer from spine/back issues.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend SCOS to family and friends as I have in the past. I had knee replacement surgery and nerve blocks for my shoulder. I don’t know what happened to this place but it has gone way down hill from where it was. I went there to have my back looked at and after an MRI and CT the surgeon told me I have stenosis and needed surgery.I then the nightmare started…the doctor never put in the order for surgery. After many phone calls the answer was the same “ I’m still waiting for the doctor to put in the order” and as of today I still haven’t heard back. I decided to go back to Newport Orthopedic and after seeing Dr. Lee I have the ball rolling and the surgery is planned for the first week of October.I am truly disappointed with SCOS and the surgeon there. There is one person I would like to thank and that’s Denise who is the scheduler for SCOS. She was very helpful.
