My name is Enrique Chávez, I became Dr Veneziano patient after I fell down from my scooter and torn completely my AC joint ligaments, grade III AC separation. Dr Veneziano welcomed me with an smile the very first time we met. He was super professional, and mostly a good human with me. He explained me my condition, answered all my questions and concerns with patience. Since the very first appt he did not rushed me to have surgery but rather gave me the pros and cons and gave me hope that with time and therapy could heal on my own without surgery . He also mentioned that if worse comes to worse and I did not healed on my own , he would then would have me consider surgery. I appreciate his ethics, human side and the confidence that he gave me to be patient and see if I could healed on my own. All his staff were awesome and super professional. God bless you Dr and your hands to continue helping others to the best of your abilities
My mom Sara rauof has been extremely happy with the results of her rotator shoulder cup surgery back in November. He has been very caring in all her follow up appointment and offers alternatives for her recovery.
Not a responsible doctor. Minimum knowledge.
Dr. Christopher Veneziano,M.D. is outstanding in his specialty in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic. Six months ago he gave me a knee shot. He is so skilled at giving knee shots, I had no pain! He even found that I had an infection in the knee and removed the infectious fluid off my knee. I am so ready for a second shot and also having pain in the shoulder severely. I can hardly wait till tomorrow a.m. to get relief after his skilled assessment. He is brilliant and his physical assistant.
The customer experience through this Doctor, his staff and their practice (SCO) is not satisfactory. My wife has been seeing this office for several weeks. She cries not from the pain of her arthritic knees and meniscus tear but mostly from the lack of attention and compassion provided by this organization. We are undeniably dissatisfied that this office routinely takes forever to return calls. The Doctor himself is virtually unavailable for unrushed personal consultations. It seems to us that this Practise and by extension are so consumed with the volume of patients they see that they are either unwilling or unable to take the time to really listen and provide thorough and vigorous care. It is frustrating beyond reality.Today we called to get an update as my wifes temporary return to work status expires this evening. The woman who called us back clearly was there to do one thing. Take a message so she could get us off the phoneIn fact she told us that there are patients lined up and she could not spend more time helping us to understand our optionsShe relayed to us that Dr Veneziano was unwilling to sign his name to approve disability payments while my wife is off work. I then asked her if thats so then it sounds like the Doctor is willing to have my wife return to work lifting boxes as a FEDEX courier and that he was clearly willing to let her do that and risk further damage to her knees. At that point the young woman was simply unwilling to speak any further with usYou will NOT receive satisfactory total patient care through this Doctor, his staff of this practiceRespectfully submitted Jeff & Sheryl
I needed ACL reconstruction and my medial meniscus cleaned up. I have several other medical conditions that needed to be considered when approaching this surgery and prolonged recovery. Dr. V was very patient with me and my situation. There was some miscommunication with my general doctor about what course of meds I should be on but nothing that didnt get sorted out prior to surgery. Dr. Vs staff is excellent. Every time Ive left a message with a concern they have gotten back to me within an hour.
I saw Dr. Veneziano when I was having lots of pain in my left knee. I had surgery on this knee 14 years earlier. Dr. Veneziano doubted that I had had surgery on this knee; he thought it was arthritis. My earlier surgery involved my ACL and meniscus tears. I did not appreciate his attitude toward women. In the months that I saw him my left knee continued to deteriorate. Thankfully, I saw another surgeon who found 9 things wrong with my left knee including scar tissue from my past surgery. Do not trust Dr. Venezianos judgements. Get a second opinion. My knee was bone on bone by the time I had my second left knee surgery. Now I can ski, dance, play volleyball and tennis.Trust your gut feeling. Dr. Veneziano is overly confident for no reason.
Dr. Veneziano misdiagnosed my shoulder injury. The rehab he recommended caused me more pain. I called him several times to discuss this, but he never returned my calls. I ended up going to another surgeon who did the proper surgery. Stay away from this unresponsive, uncaring doctor.
I went to doctor Veneziano to treat my swollen knee. He checked the swelling and sent me for Xrays. After checking the Xrays he spent time reviewing the results with me and explaining what options were available. I highly recommend Dr. Veneziano
I choose Dr Veneziano because his specialty is sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. After he did my knee arthroscopic surgery I had prolonged pain and was unable to get answers. South Coast Orthopedics had a nice office and good staff but I would not recommend Dr V because of his total lack of communication. He just kept recommending more treatments without explaining the processes or reasons. In the meantime I have seen another Doctor and am getting better results.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
