List of Conrad ANTHONY Cox's Reviews
Dr. Cox has been very professional and helpful with me and my wife every time we see him. He listens very well, answers our questions patiently, and explains our conditions very well. I would recommend him to my family members and friends.
Asked for a glass of water and the receptionist served it to me with her hand cupping the rim of the glass. When is this acceptable? Not since germ theory lead to the recommendation of hand washing and eventually, modern medicine. Would really appreciate if you stopped trying to get people sick who are asking for hydration. On top of this, she is asking me to wear a mask (I don't wear masks and you shouldn't either) which is sooooooo 2020. I mean, they don't work. Covid is the flu / common cold with a different name. And if you wear a face diaper you look ridiculous and you're embarrassing yourself. Anyway, I said I would wait outside for Dr. Cox out of respect for this mask wearing policy which makes ZERO sense. Dr. Cox would not even come out to the lobby / hallway to speak with me. The office manager said if I don't wear a mask I can't see the Dr....I respectfully asked her to ask Dr. Cox if he would speak with me / briefly examine a sensitive and highly painful area of my abdomen, outside the office. The office manager said he would not see me outside the office and offered a tele-appointment. If I need the Dr. to examine me a video call doesn't work. It is absolutely criminal to refuse medical examinations / treatment to people that don't wear masks. Dr. Cox does not care for all his patients. Only the sheep that wear masks even if it makes no sense and has more negative impacts than people realize. Shame on you Dr. Cox. You are a terrible Dr. for not seeing me...you make me sick.
This office got 1 star because I had to provide a rating. Aida is rude, unprofessional, retaliatory, and her conduct is COMPLETELY UNBECOMING FOR ANYONE WORKING IN PATIENT CARE FACILITIES. This person has no business working in a patient care facility. She apologized for being rude and for being less than helpful. I immediately contacted my insurance company and filed a complaint because Aida retaliated against me for disputing her behavior. I called from my phone number approximately 5 times and no one answered. Then I called from a different number and Aida picked up the phone on the 2nd ring. I had to block my number so that my phone call would be answered. The patient in this case is on borrowed time and this employee DID NOT CARE. I also left a message for the office manager to no avail. Aida attempted to make medical decisions claiming to be the Dr's nurse but I requested the information come from the dr himself as he is an MD. I highly doubt that Aida is an RN because she is completely and utterly unethical and unprofessional. But I intend on contacting the licensing agencies to find out so I can file a complaint against Aida and possibly have the practice reviewed. I inclusively asked my insurance company to drop this office as the staff's behavior is counterproductive to patient care. If Dr. Cox wants to retain his patients he needs to fire Aida and replace her with someone that is efficient, effective, and professional. Thank God that Dr. Cox is not the only Gastroenterologist in the world. I am also asking my insurance to monitor my husband's information that is in the system which is available to this employee because I do not trust that she will abide by HIPAA LAWS. If my husband's information is accessed we will know and I will follow through with litigation and the medical board.
This medical service practices shady setup for unscrupulous billings to unsuspected consumer, even with good insurance coverage. I checked with Blue Cross/Blue Shield representative about a common preventative colonoscopy check-up and were told that it is a no cost procedure if done by an In-Network provider. I went with Coxcare, Inc. for this reason, but what happened in regards to billings was a total surprise. I was billed twice for the procedure; totaling about $1400. Many attempts to have this office reverse the way they invoiced through the billing codes had failed. Instead of a no cost check-up, they billed it under elective diagnostic service code and the consumer bears the full burden of unapproved service charges.
5 yrs I wouldn’t be alive without this Doctor in my life.. Mr compassion… is to define him… how privileged I am to have such an exceptional Doctor care for me..I’m always scared of continus problems…he has way for a person have a complete understanding… Thanks Doctor Cox!
Would not recommend this GI specialist to anyone.
Dr. Cox was easy to talk with, he listened to what I had to say. He is a cool Dr. I would recommend him to everyone.
From consultation to testing to procedure all went smoothly. I was a bit nervous but Dr. Cox was great and assured me it would all be fine.
Feel like I saw a totally different doctor than some of these reviews. Really like Dr. Cox, saw me on time, listened and got me a referral for my endoscopy. He took time to talk with me and my wife about things at the endoscopy. When trying to book it though I had issues and had to call his offices many times. Same when booking the follow up appointment. Their voicemail seems to intentionally not work - you can rarely leave a message and they will not pick up even during business hours. My procedure was also delayed over a week due to staff losing my referral forms.
Dr Cox and the whole staff were great, they made a not so fun experience, not so bad at all, i would highly recommend him. All were very kind and professional throughout the entire procedure.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
