List of Coxcare's Reviews
Dr Cox is one of the most caring doctors I have had the pleasure to be prescribed to. I had a number of drs turn down my HMO insurance, regardless that I was suffering from stage 4 esophageal cancer. Dr Cox saw me even regardless of my insurance and performed a endoscopy despite being in the middle of the winter holidays. I have sometimes had to wait a while to see him at his office, but that is because he takes his time with his patients, something that I have not always felt with other doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Cox despite any negative comments from other patients.
Incompetence in the office absolutely horrible. I was scheduled to have a Colonoscopy it took five months to get all the insurance approvals and a date to get the procedure. I had the authorization time and date and all paperwork, I started my fast as directed and I was getting ready to do my prep and drink the nasty stuff , and my girlfriend who was going to pick me up after the procedure had a gut feeling to call the office and confirm everything. We'll when she called CoxCare she was informed that the person in the office forgot to put me on the schedule for my procedure. Five months of my time and stress wasted and all they could say was sorry. I dont have enough expletives to describe my feelings right now. I wish I could sue these people, if doctor Cox is as incompetent as his staff it's probably better he never worked on me.
Dr cox was really friendly and helpful. Ordered the Lab work I needed for my issue. Also office staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience.
I felt comfortable and well cared for. The staff was accommodating and kind.
Left messages, called but no one picks up, website won't load so dies it exist? My doctor is sending me outside Optum. Very unprofessional and there are reviews posted about this behavior.
Dr. Cox probably saved my life. The receptionists couldn'tbe nicer too.
No way to get a hold of them for intial consultation. Imagine if I was already a patient needing a follow up.
What a thoughtful and intelligent doctor- best bedside manner as well! Highly recommend him!
I visited Dr Cox regarding a consultation for esophageal cancer. The receptionist was very helpful and I saw Dr. Cox at my appointed time. He was very professional and explained my situation very well. He scheduled a endoscopy within 6 days and arranged for the approval from my insurance provider. I would have no hesitation to recommend him to someone in the same situation I’m in.
THE LAST AND ONLY VISIT AFTER WAITING 40 MINUTES, I HEARD THE DOCTOR IN HIS OFFICE CLEARLY UPSET ABOUT SOMETHING. THEN THE RECEPTIONIST INFORMED ME TO RESCHEDULE, AS THE DOCTOR WAS MAD AT ONE OF HIS PATIENTS. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I NEVER WENT BACK. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
