List of Exer Urgent Care's Reviews
My mom broke her arm (at the time we didn’t know it was that) so we ended up here after another urgent care sent us. The male nurse that saw my mom before the doctor was extremely rude, if you are a nurse and your are supposed to help people and have that attitude? Terrible. After that my mom was seen by the doctor and then at the beginning she was very kind and told her that she was going to do some x-rays done but later she backed up, started twisting my mom's symptoms, mentioning some that my mom never said or had. She advised my mom to go the ER, which obviously we were going to do since she didn't wanted to treat her. She started behaving very weird, wanted to bring a “witness” to see that she advised my mom to go to the ER when my mom never said that she wouldn't she was just confused about her behavior and the overload of information not to mention she started telling the worst of the scenarios; naturally my mom got very very scared. We ended up leaving with a terrible feeling and -220 dlls for what? NOTHING. We went to the ER and they helped her right away and we left with a very clear diagnosis. Never never again I will go to an urgent care and even less to this one.
Took my 3 yr old to this urgent care because it had good reviews and little wait time. My 3yr old had lingering cough and the "provider" (don't even know if they were a doctor) said he had a double ear infection, respiratory distress and ordered him a chest x ray and transfer of care to emergency room and asked if we wanted an ambulance. Knowing my kid, this seemed ridiculous so went to my regular urgent care despite the lengthy wait. The doctor at the other urgent care said no respiratory distress, minor ear infection on one side but not double and that a chest x ray and ambulance ride would be very very unnecessary. Exer caused a crazy amount of unnecessary stress. If I could get my co pay back I would and I would never recommend this place.
We started our process registering and the staff member who was helping us left for their lunch break without saying anything.
This last experience was terrible, unfortunately. Basically there was no one at the reception to check you in. And that was apparently because everyone was on a lunch break. But there was no signage so I was standing at the desk waiting for a while. Don't say your hours are are from morning until evening if there's a long gap in the middle of the day when no one will be seen. Then they had me check in virtually on a computer. You're reading that right. While I was there in person, they had me connect with a virtual office worker... But she could not get her tech to work so after about 10 minutes and two phone calls from her to the office, she has me just wait for me to get checked in. Now it's been over an hour and even though THERE WERE NO PATIENTS HERE when we got here, we're still waiting. I have no clue why it could be taking this long.
Staff is very nice, however they always discredit my symptoms and knowledge of what sicknesses I have and they always end up being wrong! Last year I came in with symptoms of a kidney infection and the one taking care of me was an older woman. I told her I have a kidney infection and she said to me "no you don't have one" in a tone as if I'm stupid, just for me to end up being correct after tests were ran. She also proceeded to try to insert a needle in my arm 4 times and messed it up each time- even left with a bubble in my arm. This time I came back again unfortunately with another one, a different lady Erin taking care of me was very nice however she told me I don't have a kidney infection once again. The way she came up with that conclusion is hitting my back in certain areas and asked if it hurt. She told me to go to the ER for a different life-threatening diagnosis, just for her to end up being wrong and I DID have a extremely severe kidney infection. Its just really annoying when doctors don't take into consideration what you're saying just to end up being correct. Bc of this place now I lost trust for doctors and question if theyre wrong all the time.
I visited Exer Urgent Care Lakewood yesterday. It was a very positive experience, I was treated quickly & efficiently. The staff is most helpful!
Everyone was so friendly and helpful when I went. From the front desk nurse to the nurse taking my vitals and the doctor. I would definitely recommend going here for urgent care.
Excellent experience at Exer Urgent Care in Lakewood. The staff was all great and the facility was modern and clean. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, which was awesome. There is also a CVS right next door in case you need a prescription filled. I would highly recommend this clinic for any of your healthcare needs.
Very low wait times, great doctors, much more convenient than waiting days to see primary care doctor.
I had a high fever and decided to go here on July 4th. The nurse seemed irritated. Doctor just asked me a few questions, didn't offer any test, and gave me antibiotics. Found out I had covid a few days later. The doctor misdiagnosed, AND i still had a bill to pay.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
