I wish that I had read the negative reviews about Dr, Gomez months ago! I don’t know why she is still getting referrals! I waited 3 months for an appointment and one hour before my appointment, it was cancelled and rescheduled. My next 2 appointments were cancelled and rescheduled. I finally saw her and she set up blood tests for me and I was scheduled to come in about 1 month later. I arrived at her office and it was closed and nobody came to the door. I called the office 4 times and finally someone answered 3 hours after my appointment and told me the Dr. was on medical leave again, even though I received a robo call the night before confirming the appointment. I’m done!!!
HORRIBLE!!! The office called to tell me my appt was cancelled an hour before I was to be there. The next appt, I fill out 20 pages of redundant material and after 2 hoursI still have not been seen.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR SHE HAS ZERO CONCERN FOR HER PATIENTS. I made an appt. waited 2 months for it for her office to call me 1 hour before to cancel it. So they rescheduled me 2 weeks later then the dr. herself calls me w/the audacity to tell me 1 hour before my appt. that she has to leave early again & that I must come in right away disregarding my actual appt. of 3:15pm. I told her I had to pick up my child from school the dr. could have cared less. She said all she could offer was me coming in right away before my scheduled appt. time because she had something to do & had to leave early from her office not caring one single bit that I had an appt. at 3:15 so I would be able to pick up my child. All she cared about was herself. Her patients have Rheumatoid Arthritis if your reading this looking for a good dr. you know that having RA it already isn’t easy to travel to a doctors appt. w/our disabilities. To have a dr. not care about a patients time is disgusting & unprofessional.

I waited all afternoon! If it wasnt for the tv I would have left! The wait was because she had an appt. and was late, so all patients had too wait. This effected the whole schedule was off. The doctor is kind, thorough, knowledgeable. Though professionalism is poor. I would not recommend her.

My girlfriend had an appointment at 11:00 am. We arrived at 10:45 am, and filled out a first time patient form that was about 10 pages long. Many other doctors email forms like this to their patients, but in any case, after filling out the forms, which took about an hour, my girlfriend was informed that it would be about another hour until her appointment, and we were encouraged to go get a bite to eat. One bite to eat later, we returned and continued to wait in the small and stuffy waiting room. At 1:00 pm, my girlfriends name was called, and she had her vitals taken by the admitting nurse. After that, it was back to the waiting room. Finally, at 1:30 pm, she was invited to visit with the doctor. One hour later, she emerged. The first fifteen minutes were spent waiting for the doctor to enter the room, after that, the time was equally split between her telling Dr. Gomez what her symptoms were, having the doctor squeeze sensitive areas to determine that my girlfriend was being honest about the pain and then listening to the doctor confirm what my girlfriend had just told her, having the doctor ask questions that my girlfriend had already answered on the voluminous admittance paperwork, and then look up my girlfriends previous specialist on the internet to see if she knew her, personally. Dr. Gomez concluded the visit by requesting a followup appointment and telling my girlfriend that she required more of the medication that my girlfriend had already explained has been having adverse effects on her. In conclusion, it is hard to believe that Dr. Gomez is a doctor. Her helpfulness and care were about on par with her office management skills, which were depressing.

This Doctor is known for long wait times of 34 hours. Its not unusual to wait all afternoon and then have her cancel the appointment. Extremely poor time management. Also, office doesnt answer phone or return calls. This DOctor needs a good office manager! Horrible way to treat people.
This doctor's professionalism is absolutely horrible! My mother was referred to her and she scheduled her first appointment. She wanted 4 hours and was told she would not be seen because the doctor had to leave. This is very unprofessional and not acceptable!

I had to wait over three hours to see the doctor. Based on the other people in the waiting room. I got the impression this was not a rare occurrence. Not once did the doctor apologize for making me wait. The doctor should learn how to schedule patients.

Pro: Pleasant staff. Relatively comfortable office Con: Waittimes are consistently longer two to three hours. Appointment cancellations and noshows by the doctor occur frequently. Have been annoyed by doctor mixing up my file with other patients
Dr. Gomez is the best dr ever she is more then just a dr to me she saved my life

Although she is pleasant, the lack of professionalism in the running of her practice is astounding. Constantly late, cancels appointments at the last minute, and if you can actually get to see her, spends about 7 minutes with you. Ive stuck with her for a long time but Im finally fed up.
I was pregnant then breastfed for six months. My RA was so out of control. Luckily I was referred to Dr. Gomez and she immediately got me started on the necessary meds to get me back on track. She was very thorough and followed up with me through phone calls even after hours just to see how I was doing. I felt like I was in good hands with her as my rheumatologist,
Just to inform any readers of previous comment, these were mostly written by immature, uneducated females with a grudge and lack of proffesionalism. Olivia Gomez is a brilliant physician who happens to wear many Dr. Hats because she has the knowledge to do so. I have experienced what she can do for patients who are very ill and is capable of bringing them back to full health and allowing them to lead normal lives. She has also gone out of her way to make sure her patients recieve the medication and treatment they need regardless of there insurance or lack there of. She may not be evryones cup of tea but she is a brilliant physician with much experience in the Rheumatology and Internal Medicine Fields.
