I have to say this doctor saved my husbands life. I feel like our primary care doctor and the NP's and PA's don't take issues as seriously as they should. Doctor Madrid listened and was quick to figure out something was not right even though the issues was not with his heart and called ahead and spoke to the doctor and sent my husband to the ER. I don't know what would have happened if we had not gone to see him when we did. Thank You Doctor Madrid.

Dr Madrid is the very best, he is the only reason that I am still here. There are no words to express his medical knowledge and care as a doctor. Very professional and caring.
He’s a great doctor. His staff at the front desk is a different story. Expect to wait over an hour for an appointment. They speak loudly about patients (HIPA violation?) where other patients can hear them. The front staff seems to want to gossip more than work. Once you past them, Dr. Madrid is straight-forward and really cares about his patients.
He is a wonderful doctor as long as you follow his directions you will be fine
Dr. Madrid had seen me in the emergency room while having my first heart attack. I wasn't very comfortable with what he was telling me, however, it was my first heart attack, and I'd rather hear the truth rather than someone beating around the bush when my life is on the line. I was scared going into surgery, I had no family to help with my decision, only the nurses whom were taking me and going to be there with Dr. Madrid to perform the surgery, I cried, they reassured me it was going to be ok, I stayed for 2 days, everything went fine. Yes, I would refer anyone having heart trouble to Dr. Madrid. Thank you, everyone whom was involved with me at the Doctor's Hospital of Lakwood.
I received a pacemaker 2 years ago, and it was not inserted correctly. Only 1 of the leads is connected. Dr. Madrid's office does not wish to admit their mistakes and act as though they do not even want me as a patient, now that something has gone wrong. It would be difficult for me to go to another doctor who is not responsible for the poor outcome of my pacemaker insertion and expect someone else to correct the mistake. Yet,I am not receiving follow up care as I should be, and my health is failing. If I had it to do over again, I would not be treated by Dr. Eisenstein or by his co-worker in the same office, Dr. Madrid. It appears to me that they are running a pacemaker mill, and they do not care to do any follow-up care when their shoddy work goes wrong.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
