List of Acuity Eye Group - Lancaster's Reviews
The staff and doctors are great, however being on hold for over an hour to reschedule an appointment is NOT acceptable...
Clean and modern Eye clinic. The young man who called me in, John, was very pleasant & professional. The young woman who conducted the second series of tests was also nice. The lady in the front didn't give me a hard time thankfully. I had pre-filled my paperwork which they sent me when I had made my appointment. Overall, despite the reviews, my experience wasn't bad. Let's see how my visit with the Dr will be should I get to see them in 2 weeks as mentioned.
Front desk very helpful, professional, 1st tech was professional , 2nd tech was very loud for no clear reasons. The medical doctor was very professional 👏.George famy , M.D.
My husband and my son had an appointment at 2 p.m. we arrived at 1:55 p.m., they proceeded to tell us the appointments were for 1 p.m.. they were still seen by a tech at 2:45 p.m. from 3 p.m. until 4:30 we sat in the waiting room waiting to be called to get our prescription. At this time the glasses Center closed and told us we would have to come back another day. We already had to take a day off of work for the appointment in the first place, now we have to come back again to get measured pick frames and order glasses, This is the most unprofessional Eyeglass Center I have ever been to. I do not recommend it to anybody. Do not come here unless you love being pissed off and having a hard time. It is currently 4:50 p.m. They have locked me out of the building while my husband and son are still inside waiting for someone to give them their RX. I will definitely be taking the RX to a different location to fill the glasses, did they ever think of working until all of the patients were finished? A reputable place would.
I like that I didn't stay that long in the waiting room. They called me right away. The nurse and the Dr were very friendly and answered all my questions
The staff is very helpful and professional. They do not make patients wait for their scheduled appointments The doctors are kind with very good bedside manner. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of visual treatment.
1. I was scheduled for 3:30 pm. When I arrived there were about 50 people in their waiting room. I wasn't called until 4:30 pm. Talk about greed.2. I went to a room where the only electronic testing was a monitor which displayed the E test with smaller and smaller letters and i was quizzed with a simple DMV sight test. Nothing advanced until I was herded into the next room where I think they did the Glaucoma test.3. The gal said she would call me "within 2 weeks" with the results. Didn't hear a thing and now we're now closer to 4 weeks. And yes, i have an answer machine which you could have responded to.Walmart does a better job.
My visit was outstanding friendly staff an right to the point, my co pay was 5.00 an they take different insurances..I would highly recommend this place, was my first time here an the experience was outstanding
The staff is very friendly and professional. The waiting time was fair. Overall, great service.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
