I'm very Lucky that I have city of hope to take care of my surgery went very well. I have one treatment left than I will be put a pill and I have hopes of a full recovery God is good and a great worker of our health.high hopes for a little bit longer in life and it is possible And the Dr's were great and so caring really and the best is they can give you Quilty of life. Thank for caring so much about cancer treatments. Of America.

My father had hernia surgery in December 2022. The surgeon, Yih-Dar Nien, only comes to Lancaster every other Wednesday. At post-op appointment number one, my father had pain, swelling at the incision. In addition to a hoarse and painful throat. Surgeon instructed, the pain, swelling hoarseness, etc would resolve. Scheduled another follow up in two weeks. Incision area improving (not resolved). Hoarseness not improving. After 3rd post-op visit, surgeon agrees to order an ENT referral. Weeks later, March 2, 2023, I receive a call from Dr Yih-Dar Nien's office. The referral has been approved and sent to Dr Vadapalli's office. I immediately call ENT office. They have a referral with a HERNIA diagnosis!! Nothing related to ENT. The ENT office cannot call to ask for an accurate diagnosis because they are too busy. I call Violet at Dr Nien's office back. She now sees the error. She has to send a message to the surgeon so he can correctly add an ENT related diagnosis. Then the process of submitting to insurance to get approval starts all over again. I am amazed how horrible the patient caring is at City of Hope Antelope Valley. High Desert Medical Group is low quality for patients. I highly recommend you do not seek care at City of Hope Antelope Valley if you have an option (unlike my father).

Bad service stuff do not care careless for the costumers and when need meds they do nothing about your needs ! Calling day before appointment and try to find a reason to cancel my appointment ! Dr also young try to fine ginipigs to experiment on !! Sad but true !!
