My mom has stage 4 recurring metastasized cancer and hasn’t been seen for over a month. She had an appointment that was cancelled last minute for no reason and hasn’t received a follow up call. Office staff is terrible.

Thorough, plain-talking, and knowledgeable. I have seen Dr. Masiello for a number of years and feel lucky to be under his care. I am not familiar with the Oxnard office as I see him in the Rancho Mirage office.

On my first visit Dr. Masiello told me that lifestyle changes would have no bearing on the progression of my cancer, a patently ignorant comment because there is a wealth of evidence to the contrary. I've seldom encountered a more negative-minded person than this doctor and the reason for my cancellation of any future appointments with him. It appears that this doctor quit keeping up with latest developments in his field and hasn't refreshed his knowledge in years. Stay away from this doctor, he's the prophet of doom and ignorance.

Dr. Masiello is a doctor who really cares about his patients. I felt that he really wants to do everything he can to help me go through my treatment, and make it as comfortable as possible for me. I feel blessed that he is my doctor in this most difficult time in my life.
