I had a stroke two years ago. Dr Starr was my attending Neurologist. After the stroke many issues started coming to the forefront. Dr. Starr was very attentive and knowledgeable. Excellent bedside manor.

i have met dr Starr twice once at Exeter hosp , did not know him at the time ,treated me & was excellent at injection , second time was referred by another by another doctor , again very good , had to have a nerve test , somewhat uncomfortable , but he was excellent . when I had nerve test is when I realized he was same dr that I saw in hosp.

Dr. Starr is excellent! After years of misdiagnoses, Dr. Starr was able to sift through an enormity of old records, ask precise questions, provide a thorough exam, ran a couple of tests and my life-long hereditary muscular disorder was diagnosed! (proven with a genetic test). Great doc!

After a rough year or so of bouncing from doctor to doctor, Dr. Starr was able to dx me with MS and began treatment immediately. In addition to the MS, he listened to me when I told him about frequent (sometimes constant)migraines, and he began treatment for those as well. He listened when I told him which medications were or were not working, and he was quite aggressive in helping me to find something that would work. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Geoffrey Starr to anyone in the Portsmouth, NH area!

Dr. Geoffrey Starr is rude and uncaring. he makes no pretense about not listening to his patients's concerns. He is only interested in checking the diagnostic code box so that he can get paid. After suffering three seizures - the last one involved me in an auto accident with a fatality - he saw me for 8 minutes and showed me the door. No prescription for medication or any any kind of medical treatment. No follow-up of any kind. I asked him if it was safe for me to drive again; Dr. Starr just shrugged his shoulders pointed at the door. I complained to the Vermont State Health Authoritieswho elected to do nothing. I have received no therapy or medication for seizures but I still have my Driver's License.
