Dr. Oscar by far is probably one of the best pediatricians in the AV. We have been seeing him since my first was a newborn in the hospital. Although the annual exams require a few months advance for scheduling, I am still able to get in to see him on an urgent basis as long as I call when the nurses/receptionists tell me to call. Dr. Oscar is very calming and soothing, takes his time with each patient to ask how they are in school, what activities their in, etc and actually LISTENS!! As a parent, I've asked a million and one questions and I feel that he's not giving me a text book answer, rather an educated and well thought out and thorough answer.

I used to love this office when they were still on 15th. Now the nurses are not as helpful or seem to care. The doctor is still very good but its the staff that is makes me hate going.

I've had a hard time finding a Dr my kids are comfortable with, and my kids warmed up to him right away. I'm always able to get an appointment in when I need to. the wait time is short and they make sure the kids are comfortable.

schedule an appointment is very hard, to get an urgent appointment for my son illness impossible (my wife and I been to urgent care in the avh twice because we couldn't get in to the doctor busy schedule)

While I like him when we've seen him, scheduling is almost impossible - a 3 month wait to schedule an annual exam, very hard to get an urgent appointment for an illness (we've been to urgent care twice because we couldn't get in to the doctor within the same week), and when we do have an appointment the wait is over an hour from the scheduled time before we see the Doctor. I do really like him as a doctor - calm, good with kids etc, but the scheduling makes it almost impossible to recommend him.

He is a great doctor and I've been to many with my children who happen to be SN.He kind,listen's to what is going on with my child and is generous with his advice.he is also very loving.I recommend him hands down.
