My visit with Dr. Brass in the ER was one of the only times ever I’ve left a positive review. He was very respectful, listens to the patient, ran appropriate tests, called a specialist at midnight for me and attempted to arrange an appointment for me the next day with the specialist. Unfortunately I couldn’t get in to meet with the specialist once the best day came and I had to go through office staff. Patients are having a lot of difficulty getting even basic specialist care during COVID (our prescriptions, followup labs, any visits other than by phone, etc.). We then are forced to go to the ER when our condition worsens as a result. It is frustrating for both the patients and the ER staff who are now managing all COVID plus all the cases specialists are dropping the ball on for the past two years. My entire experience at the Rutland ER was excellent ; provider, wait time, COVID safety and nurses. Thank you for helping me this weekend.

The first time I was seen in the ER by Ryan Brass he sent me home with the wrong prescription, which could have cost me a lifetime of health problems had another doctor not corrected Ryan's mistake. My second encounter with Ryan Brass was a waste of time as he completely misdiagnosed my condition. His cocky, shot-in-the-dark, diagnosis was completely wrong. He, once again, wrote a wrong and unnecessary prescription of antibiotics to cover for his generalized diagnosis and lack of knowledge. The two times I was seen by Ryan Brass, he came across as cocky in his "great I am" and "know-it-all" bedside manner. Ryan's fellow colleague of medicine referred to him as an "idiot." Ryan Brass should NOT have contact with any patient needing medical attention. I am perplexed at how Ryan Brass was ever able to obtain a doctor's credentials with his overconfidence of uneducated guesses and incompetence.

He is awful. He is very rude and cold when speaking to someone in treatment for mental health. Wouldn't even recommend bringing a dying bird to him...
