Kaiser gynecology is the ABSOLUTE worst, at least here in the Antelope Valley. ALL of the appointments get take up by pregnant women because as I've been told more than once "pregnant women take priority" I the rest of us patients who pay for our insurance every month don't matter then. As a paying member it doesn't exactly make me feel at ease to be told such a thing, nor does it make me happy to know that most women in the AV are on medical and unemployed and yet they get to see the doctors I haven't been able to in over a year. Absolute lack of care. I'm not looking for an apology, I'm writing this review as a patient who has had enough. Kaiser NEEDS to revisit it's policies because if it's going to have members pay for services they can't use, then I'll have to take my business elsewhere, preferably somewhere that sees me as a priority without having to be pregnant. 10/10 do not recommend. I shouldn't have to wait 3 plus months to be seen.

This new Kaiser Lancaster Butterfly Building is amazing! It has almost every department you can think of, but not all of them. That's why we still have the old lancaster kaiser on Ave L and 15th. This Butterfly Building has a great pain management department. Dr. Khan and his associates are great people. I just wished that this Butterfly Building would've been converted to a Kaiser Hospital for the antelope valley. They have the land/space for it. That would've been fantastic! Although Great Kaiser Building nonetheless.

Took my sister before her appointment time and quickly finished her procedure.

All scheduled Covid-19 vaccinations through Kaiser are now being administered at 2551 West Ave H. Even if you have an email directing you to the Kaiser Butterfly bldg, save time and go directly to the 2551 West Ave H address. Kaiser has signs and people to direct you upon arrival. If you have a Handicap Placard, hang it up on your vehicle mirror prior getting to the first person giving directions as you will be going to a special lane for parking.

Worst oncology department ever. Or at least Dr. Monemian was. My dad went in with stage 3 colon cancer and high hopes. EVERY single time my dad would walk in with positive news (no pain,Feeling better, etc.) Dr. Monemian would always “burst his bubble” and my dad would walk out deflated and defeated. The doctor never once was encouraging, making us feel like we were in this together, or felt like he had a fighting chance. He was very blunt (although I know doctors always have to be truthful, there is a way to be compassionate and empathize with your parents). He constantly reminded my dad how low his chances were and how not likely he was to survive. Once his condition got worse, the surgeon got involved and it was to the point where they could not operate on him anymore and they were basically “throwing my dad back and forth” to each other to basically pin the death on someone and he literally said “this file is going to fall on me.” Who says that? That made it seem like my father was just another file to him, a file that would probably lower his “score” by adding a dead person to his toll. This doctor was the second most least compassionate medical professional I had come across at that point in time (the #1 is Dr. Lee from City of Hope in Duarte in case anyone was wondering).
