My husband and I have been going to Dr. Ahmed for years and he has been there for us. We have not had any problems with him or his staff. They have taken care of our needs and if I have any health problem I can usually get in to see Dr. Ahmed within the week.

I fired Dr. Ahmed because he would not do anything to help me deal with the discomfort I experienced using my CPAP machine. I switched to UCLA where, it turns out, a doctor can not only adjust the pressure but other settings that affect comfort and reduce the sense that I am suffocating. Dr. Ahmed I believe, didn't feel like working all that hard to deal with my concerns but just wanted to process me.

Dr Ahmed has been my pulmonologist for years. He is a wonderful doctor and his staff is great. Give this office an A++++++

He never called in my mom's prescription, and she can't get her medicine for her COPD. Im listening to her struggle and try and reach him and once she gets through he doesn't answer and it says his mailbox is full. How is that care? She is now trying to figure out if she can take an old prednisone to try and alleviate her symptoms... she is suffering and can't reach the Dr. Why is he so behind the times with his phone system? Why didn't his office just call in the medication? Sadly he is the only Dr traveling to Ridgecrest CA that I'm aware of... as a family member in really sorely disappointed. She may end up in the hospital because he can't answer his phone or have a responsible office staff.

Dr. Ahmed is an excellent, caring and competent doctor. However, his office staff is extremely bad and incompetent. Trying to get a prescription refill with Costco faxing to the doctor results in nothing...and this is a repeated failure. Three outreaches from Costco since Sunday, today is Saturday and still no refill. Nothing serious...just medication for COPD. Make sure you are never late for a breathing test. Desk failed to schedule a tester for me and I waited for a long time so she could get a quickie test done by desperately calling for a last minute tester. Almost getting to the point of locating another doctor who has competent office help.
