I am almost an eight year survivor of non-small cell lung cancer and 75 years old at the time. Dr. Banta saved my life and I will be 83 on July 4, 2019. I have been able to see my grandson graduate from Georgetown and on his way to law school. There are many other events that I have enjoyed thanks to his medical care.

Dr Banta is one of the best doctors in the Coachella Valley. He is kind, caring and compassionate. He has great knowledge and is a very patient man. I highly recommend this Dr.

He's a doctor that does not care for his patients and makes VERY poor decisions when a patients hydration levels, hemoglobin levels, or magnesium levels are dangerously low. He let a family member of mines hemoglobin level drop below half of the normal level. In my eyes he is not a doctor. He is a man that leads people to a permanent care facility. He should be stripped of his medical license I believe. He doesn't care.

He made me feel terrible. He stated, there is no reason for you to be coming here and the tests done were not necessary. I was sent to Dr. Ma by my primary care. Dr. Ma was the doctor who order the scans and blood work; which Dr. Banta did not review blood results with me while I was in the exam room. NOT a good experience!!!

I have no issue with the medical treatment he provided my husband who was getting chemo following surgery for pancreatic cancer. But his bedside manner was totally lacking - we both found him to be insensitive and lacking compassion. After over a year of apparent remission, my husband was feeling ill and in pain, and his blood markers were rising. A scan showed small lesions in the liver, but a needle biopsy was inconclusive. Banta refused to sign off on LTD, because 'there was no evidence' of cancer. Two months later, my husband was dead, with multiple large tumors in his liver and elsewhere.
