Thank you to the staff who made my visit so easy. They are welcoming and multilingual serving a diverse array of customers. The front desk receptionists were compassionate and helpful and the doctor did all he could to help under the circumstances. Nurse N. was the best part of my visit and made me feel extremely welcome and at ease I can’t speak highly enough about her. Diversity and compassion in healthcare are important and Lodi Urgent Care gets it. Thank you x a million
Horrible experience trying to get a covid test. Called a week before and asked about the process went in an waited. Followed all the instructions of horribly rude staff. After 2.5 hours of waiting was told come back tomorrow and maybe we can get you in. Had to go somewhere else. Hopefully they can process the test in time as I have a trip planned and cant go without a negative covid test. Staff was horribly rude. This place is a nightmare.
Girls at the front desk are extremely rude
I go here to see Doctor Jerry. He always is so welcoming and has phenomenal patient care. Having a series of ear infections I feel that my needs as a patient are met very well and I receive the care I need. Highly highly recommended.
Receptionist very unprofessional and rude. From what I know you are always given paperwork to fill out. She just kept asking me the questions that are normally done through paperwork just for me to say out loud ?? That just made me feel really uncomfortable.
No complaints about Dr. Ghavami or the staff. Jerry however is an $amphole He thinks he knows it all and theres nothing in the world that he doesnt know. After 20+ years of reading everything I could because every doctor couldnt figure out what was wrong with me unfortunately I have something that is rare in US but VERY common in countries like Mexico and would just say its in my head I found out what was wrong with me and when I tried to show Jerry the literature I found from the CDC cant get a better source he didnt believe me wouldnt even at it and said I need my head examined. The lady student nurse practitioner immediately looked it up and was reading about it after that Approximately a month after I tried to get Jerry to look at the information he decided hes going to cut me off of medicine that Ive been taking for 20+ years. Every other doctor and off the top of my head thats three or four has told me I need to wean off the medicine and it could take up to six months and Jerry refused to renew it and cut me off cold turkey. It couldve killed me but he didnt give a damn. So besides the lack of caring and trust in your patient. Which by the way I have done everything hes asked me to do including losing weight which is very difficult because Im not young. His excuse for cutting me off he wouldve never known about it had I not told hi. It was also something I had no control over Im supposed to go see a dermatologist but cant get an appointment because they dont have any other than months out. Urgent care sent them a referral not me they sent it and because the dermatologist claims they never received it he blamed me even though they are the ones who sent the referral and Ive called several times. bottom line. He prescribed too many drugs that did not go together which caused me to have problems before I even saw him I quit taking several of them but that didnt matter to him. As a final note and this is not just for medical professions this is for all professions. Every day theres new studies new discoveries but Jerry doesnt care about that but I havent been around for many many many years but because its not common in the United States he knows nothing about it and hes not willing to even look at literature so unless you have something like the common cold dont go to Jerry because he knows it all and if you have something he doesnt know youll never get the right treatment.. Jerry can rot in hell because as far as Im concerned he took my life away because now I can do nothing. I strongly recommend anyone eating urgent care not go to Lodi Urgent Care because you might not get the right diagnosis and you will not be able to say anything because he knows it all
Dr Ghavami and the staff here are awesome I have Kaiser but I pay cash to see Dr Ghavami. Dr Ghavami was my primary care Doctor prior to having only the Kaiser option. Unlike Kaiser Dr Ghavami seems to care about my health and quality of life. He doesnt just check a box. He has helped me through quitting tobacco loosing weight ongoing arthritis and other issues. Hes a straight talker and will be honest with you. I think some people dont like that.Ive seen some bad reviews about the staff. I dont understand that Ive been going here for years and have never had a bad experience with anyone. Like Dr Ghavami the staff is busy. I dont expect them to entertain me while I wait for my appointment. That being said Ive had some fun interactions with them over the years.I cant recommend Dr Ghavami or the staff at Lodi Urgent Care highly enough.
I took my son to see Dr. Ghavami for his sports physical. The office staff was great the lady upfront named Reese had my son in very quick. Esmeralda the nurse that took my sons vitals was very nice and friendly. Dr Ghavami was very thorough and professional. He was very conversational and wanted to get to know my son. I will definitely go back to Lodi Urgent Care and will recommend Dr Ghavami to my family and friends.
The hours show open at 8am showed up at 750am to see a sign that says Closed will return at 9am mistakingly thought maybe it was just a fluke on the little clock. Then sit there until 9am and still not open... mind you a few other people start showing up. One guy says oh Ive been coming here for nearly 6 years they have never been open at 8am even though thats what it says and they are often really late... I guess the idea of URGENT CARE is lost in their title Disappointed. Mind you and ER copay is 10times the cost of the urgent care which is why I didnt go across the street. RECOMMENDATION MAKE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION ACCURATE ONLINE AND ON YOUR SIGNAGEEnded up going to the urgent care on Kettleman which opens at 9am and was open at that time which is packed since we waited so long at the other
The staff was busy on the phone when I checked in so while I was waiting another member of the staff asked if I had an appointment. I stated yes and then she asked me to sigh in. After 20 minutes they ask for the co pay then said they would call. After waiting 30 more minutes I was called and taken back to an exam room. It took Jerry 55 more minutes before he came in. I cant believe it took 1 hour and 45 minutes after my scheduled time. Jerry stated that thats how it is on a Monday for walk ins. I informed him that I had an appointment. I believe the staff made a mistake and put me as a walk in. When I complained about it they didnt seem to care. the attitude was like my bad.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
