The patient ClearlY no longer comes first. It's tough enough leaving work early to get to the Lodi office before 4:30 (only on M,W,F, plus Lodi office closes 30 minutes before Stockton location). But when you get turned away for missing 4:30 by two minutes (as did today, 4/26/23) and they haven't shutdown the immunization station, one would think the staff or manager would honor ones request for a 2 minute exception. However, when you arrive by the skin of teeth and you see some young girl in her early 20's, you just know they're going to turn you away because they're in a hurry to catch-up on their smartphone or go join their friends. When it's an older adult, they're always more rational. Furthermore, when the youger generation is running the office without an on-site manager, you know your stuck with the younger generation's decision concerning their own well-being; not yours. Surprised by such inflexibility, I requested to speak to the off-site Stockton manager and told her turning a patient away over 2 minutes is harsh (especially when other offices have a 10 minute grace period). I told her if they're going to cost me my time off work and gas at 5 bucks a gallon for 2 minutes of their time, then their going to lose the revenue from my weekly/monthly shots (and a repeat patient of 11 years, and onward). She responded with, "I highly doubt that." (WOW!) Nothing like pouring fuel on the fire! I then told her to screw-off. With management like that, it's no wonder the younger girls are unaccommodating toward the older folks. The patient definitely doesn't come first anymore and we're at the mercy of the upcoming generation (yikes). Sure enough, the waiting room was totally empty, well before 5pm, because nobody sticks around for the entire 20 minutes to see if they're going to have a bad reaction. So all the girls still got to leave early for the day... 2 more minutes would've just ruined their day, or cost then 2 minutes on Facebook... Facts: Arrived at 4:32 pm. Call was initiated with the Stockton Manager at 4:35 pm. The call was terminated at 4:44 pm and the girl giving injections had already raced out of the office... for the manager ended up calling the receptionist at 4:44 pm and the receptionist stated, "she's already gone home". (So much for the 20 minutes they're supposed to be on the clock after 4:30, while people potentially wait for reactions (though the patients had already cleared out by 4:44pm; nobody stays and the staff knows they can leave early if they manipulate the system, including sending me on my way. Time to go the other alergist in town or drive to Elk Grove. Maybe Dr. Bensch is unaware of how his staff and manager rule with "an iron fist" and will correct such treatment. At least he makes the patient feel important (but you only see him once a year for 20 minutes). I'll miss the old character, unless they have a turn-over with management!
There is an initial wait when you start up here due to all of the testing and meeting with doctor. However, there after it is a pretty simple process to come in and get your injections! They will issue a personal medical card for checking in. The nurses then obtain your appropriate vial then you are called for to receive your injections!! They ask you wait up ton20 minutes after your injections to ensure no bad reaction occurs but for the most part I see patients leave immediately after. I'm not recommending this but it does appear patients who are established leave. Hours for injections are as followed: Mon&Thurs: 8- 11:30 a.m. & 1-4:30 pm Tues.&Wed: 1-4:30 pm Closed Fridays
This place deserves 3 stars because I think the doctor's are great here. However, the wait is always long for appointments. It's aggravating when you have a 3 year old and spend 2+ hours in the same place. The staff is great though.....they really are. Another thing that has been rather annoying these past couple months is that it is always hot in this office. As you walk into the waiting room, you feel the incredible amount of heat. I don't know if it's because the waiting room is always crowded due to the allergy injection patients or if they keep the heater on too high. Regardless, it takes stuffy to a whole other level.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
