Doc pretended to be caring for 2 hours, we also drove 2 hours to see her hoping she was different. She ordered labs and was supposed to schedule an appt with a GI due to my mothers internal bleeding. She also said she would call if she saw anything in the blood work. SHE NEVER CALLED NOR RETURNED MY CALL !!!! My mother the next say was admited into the hospital amd needed a blood transfusion! I lnow she has good reviews but DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ . This doctor will lie to your face and leave you hanging, I'm sorry mama......

DR MELANIE IS VERY SMART PATIENT CARING GOOD LISTENER THAT TAKES HER BUSY TIME TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS AND FIND THE BEST SOLUTION! ALSO SHE HAS AN AMAZING ASSISTANT GLORIA AND A VERY PROFESSIONAL CARING STAFF! WHAT A PRETTY OFFICE TOO! WE WILL BE FOREVER THANKFUL FOR ALL THAT SHE IS DOING FOR US IN MY FAMILY AND I TOTALLY RECOMMEND HER FOR WHOEVER NEED A GREAT DOCTOR!

Dr. Shaum was the hematologist on call who treated me when I had a life-threatening emergency that required immediate surgery. She is the best doctor I've ever had and the best doctor any patient could hope for. She returns every message, even if it's late at night. She gives detailed answers and explains things in a way that helps the patient understand. Her best quality is the ability to give me, as the patient, the information the other doctors on my team leave in the hospital system and explain those diagnoses as well. I credit her with saving my life, keeping me well and keeping me informed. I can't say enough about how wonderful she is. She saved my life and I'm confident if you need someone like her, she'll save your life too.
