Rodney Huss's Online Review Report Card

He was aggressive and rude during my visit. He raised his voice at me when discussing what pre-natal vitamins I should be taking. Neither he nor his nurse asked me permission prior to doing an invasive physical exam and pap smear. He went so far as to feel my uterus through my vagina which made me very uncomfortable. He also prescribed me an iron supplement without testing my iron levels even though high iron runs in my family. I now have a new doctor who tested my iron and let me know I should not be on an iron supplement. He did not run any blood tests pertaining to my pregnancy and only tested me for STD's without my explicit permission. His office had almost no information to share with my new doctor so we had to start from scratch at 15 weeks pregnant.

He delivered all 3 of mine and I trusted him enough that when my daughters got old enough they went to him. My oldest daughter was very comfortable with him and he delivered her 2 boys.

Worst gynecologist I have ever seen this doctor should retire seems uninterested in treating patients. Literal joke made me feel uncomfortable about my concerns. Hopefully they find new staff and get rid of this useless doctor.

Two stars because I never got to meet the guy. After waiting for a month for an appointment and confirming it I get a call three days before to cancel. The girl on the phone said “I’m in healthcare and should understand that schedules change.” Yes I am in healthcare, and I DONT just move my patients around. I explained that I’ve been having symptoms for over a month waiting for this appointment and need to be seen. She could not accommodate me with a similar time and just expected me to take more time off of work to accommodate their schedule. Unacceptable. I will find a new office. Stay far away from this place unless you generally like wasting your time.

Very good experience with Dr Huss!! He is a very good professional! He was my doctor for 21 years! The I moved to Colorado!! Liliana!!

Overall negative experience, awkward, as indicated by other reviewer. Wasn't really willing to help with perimenopausal symptoms, dismissive.

Best doctor in the world ! Absolutely adore his kind gentle nature and caring manner. :) If I could I'd give 5 million stars :)

When I found out I was pregnant, I decided to stay with a local doctor, I made my appointment with Dr Huss. Before I was able to make it to my appointment date, I started having some bleeding, came to his office and Tammy told me it was normal, but didn't feel normal to me, as it isn't my first pregnancy. Tammy was rude and did not show any sign of concern for me but I made her do something, so she spoke to the doctor and sent me to the lab to have some blood test to check my hormone count levels. By the time, I received the results I had stopped bleeding and the result showed very low count. Here's what she said: "it looks like you are still pregnant but your count doesn't show the weeks you said you have, you have less, so let's change your Appt for 4 more weeks in the future". I showed up to the Apptand there was no baby. Dr Huss washed his hands saying there was nothing he could do about what happened, may be more blood tests should had been done. Tammy was just there showing no empathy whatsoever. I'm not going to say how I felt because it is irrelevant. Please if you go there don't let Tammy make decisions for you, I should had said I wanted to be monitored with blood test to make sure I was still pregnant. In this office no one care.TAMMY IS HORRIBLE and please Dr Huss if you are reading this, Tammy is in the wrong line of work and is bringing your office down. She should be working where she has no interaction with patients. Please understand that if someone goes to see you they need care and attention, I received none of those.

Dr. Huss was my niece's ob/gyn 20 yrs ago . He was dismissive and a couple of his office staff were rude and very difficult, to the point of loudly discussing her medical needs and issues in front of other patients in her presence. It seemed the whole patient/dr. confidentiality rule did not seem to apply to my niece. My niece couldn't get another dr. because of finances so in a sense stuck with him. He did nothing to help her when she had issues, saying everyone has aches and pains during pregnancy. After the birth of her baby, she moved out of state for work. She recently returned and because of her insurance has been assigned to Dr. Huss...again. She just had an appt. w/ him, after not being his patient for 20 years, and was mortified that he was exactly the same - dismissive, uncaring, completely disinterested in listening to her about her reason for the visit. He insisted she take his diagnosis without running tests because he said that's all he'd ever do if everyone expected him to run tests and insinuated her pain and bleeding were all in her head. He also insisted she take a med he prescribed even after telling him she had negative reactions to it. Then he told her she was difficult to diagnose and said goodbye. And as before, one of his front office people was very rude, dismissive, and argumentative about her reason for being there insinuating that she, the one in need of help, was wasting their time. Why are they in the healthcare business if all they do is belittle, embarrass and bully patients. I would NOT recommend this dr. to anyone!

My first experience with Dr Huss, when I was pregnant with my twins, was a lot better than my current pregnancy... I just feel like he's done and tired, because he has changed in demeanor. Moreover, waiting over an hour just to talk to him for 10 mins, is completely ridiculous. Especially when other ppl were taken ahead of me, that clearly had appointments after me. I usually do not care to write reviews, however, I feel like this needs to be known. I will finish my pregnancy with Dr Huss, but I cannot wait to be done!! Plus he is understaffed like crazy, so I feel that is why we always end up waiting a long time. Which can be hard when you are so far along in the pregnancy.
