Without exaggeration, I can say that Dr. K. is my hero and was the ultimate top notch professional before during and after my thoracic surgery. He carefully monitored my dilated bicuspid aorta annually and when the dilation measurement exceeded the number he considered borderline risky, he advised me that it was time to operate, Not only did he rescue me from a fatal aneurism during my procedure he patched a hole in my heart that X-rays can't detect. In addition, (and this is the topper) he discovered that he had to replace the base of my severely compromised (feta cheese-like) membrane that my new aorta was supposed to be anchored to. While he was in there, 400 sutures were required to replace 'the feta' with cow cartilage before the new aorta could be attached.. He persevered, completed the task beautifully and saved the life of this ticking time bomb of a patient! Words can't describe the impression he has left on me and my family. (some of whom are in the health profession) The bonus is his amazing bedside manner - never rushed, always compassionate and displaying an unsurpassed level of integrity. Bravo Dr. K. and Tiffany, his NP - A professional treasure in herself!

I was shot by a crazy stranger. I thought I was dead but I woke up at Long Beach memorial after a long surgery where I was save by Dr. Khoynezhad and others. I am so lucky to be alive right now and i am grateful for all the help and things Dr. k has done for me. I will never forget and not thank god for everything he's done when I pray

Dr Khoynezhad is an excellent cardio thoracic surgeon. He operated on my husband recently and my husband did very well. He is so kind and answered all our questions and took his time with us explaining things and didn’t hurry. We felt great and reassured after talking to him at our office visit. An expert in his field, he is a great asset to the Memorial Care Organization.
