List of Alireza Hosseini's Reviews
Dr. Hosseini has been my endocrinologist now for a couple of years and every single time that I've had an appointment with him he's shown the same compassion concern and empathy for my condition and has never forgotten a single trait or topic that we discussed on my prior visits, he is the most sincere kind-hearted and understanding doctor that I've ever come across, if you choose to go to a different doctor you're very likely missing out on a top notch medical experience. He is never in a hurry he goes into great detail on to answer questions and to assure his patients understanding of the circuit of their circumstances.
Can't get through to the office Called and was on hold for 11 minutes three times and the call went to voice mail so I left messages. I did this 3 times so I drove to the office in Tustin and no one was there. I walked through the office looking for someone and again no one was there. Got home and called again and finally got a hold of Stella. If it was not for Stella I would have just cancelled everything.
Impossible to reach Very knowledgeable Doctor but he is a bit disorganized and it is impossible to reach his office outside of an appointment. He recommends medications as urgent, but then never sends them in or doesn’t follow up on insurance pre-authorization requests. Same with urgent imaging requests. No one answers the phone at the office and messages go unanswered. The staff will recommend texting their main phone number, but no one responds. I have been waiting for pre-authorization info from the doctor for a medicine he deemed critical, for over a month. No response from anyone.
A very knowledgeable Doctor Very pleasant experience. I already recommended him to my family.
Dr. Hosseini always takes time to listen to my concerns regarding my thyroid issues and my overall well being. His office staff are very helpful and responsive. It’s been a great experience. It’s evident that everyone in that office really cares about the patients and their quality of life.
Never in my life have I been to a worse medical practitioner. I have been dealing with thyroid issues for the last 6 months, and after having my symptoms dismissed by my PCP as "just what happens when you turn 30," I found a gynecologist, nurse practitioner, and different endocrinologist to validate that what I was going through was NOT normal, and were able to see that even though my lab results are within the "reference ranges" they are not OPTIMAL for a young, athletic woman of my age. I had made an appointment with Dr. Hosseini months in advance because he is the only endo in my area and practices through telehealth. Upon seeing me, he immediately told me my thyroid was normal, that my testosterone levels were normal (they are literally so low that the assay could barely register them) dismissed my symptoms, repeatedly asked me questions I had already given answers to which showed that he was not listening, and treated me like a number in line and offered no alternatives to why I could be feeling the way I do or how to proceed. I do not recommend him to anyone, and feel awful for the hundreds of women dealing with subclinical thyroid issues that are dismissed by doctors like this. Honestly despicable.

very knowledgeable Excellent doctor I have had diabetes for years and have visited many endocrinologist. He was the first one who could manage my diabetes and bring my A1C down. His staff are nice too. His clinic manager, Val, is a wonderful person who could get me pri-authorization approved for my glucose sensors and insulin Homolog. Very caring
Unprofessional office and harried Dr. He is a very caring Dr. He’s always in a huge rush and doesn’t listen well. His office is not well organized and return calls are iffy. He’s a very good man but needs someone to really be in charge of his office systems and staff.
Very knowledgeable Look this $hit is hard enough as it is. Having someone as understanding and great as Dr. Hosseini is great. Follow the plan and he’ll get you sorted.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
