Ayal Willner's Online Review Report Card

This has been a review that I have been dreading making and it’s been 2 years in the making. Dr. Wilner made a HUGE mistake. I took my week old son to see him after he was the attending ENT in the hospital when he was born. My son was having some trouble breathing when born but they assumed it was due to being a c section baby. Dr. Wilner saw him and sent us home with Flonase. We saw him a week later. The assistant set us up in the room for him to scope our baby. Once Dr. Wilner came in, he said we didn’t have to. I mentioned how we just could since we are set up and he said “okay mom if you insist!” I am a second time mother and knew that what my son was experiencing wasn’t very normal. He scoped him, said he was small inside, continue using medicine and recheck as needed. We went home and I was so worried about my son but also wanted to trust the DOCTOR. After all, he knows best.. or so I thought. That weekend was horrible. I videod my son and his breathing. I took it to our pediatrician on Monday. She insisted that we see a different doctor not at memorial. So we going our wonderful Dr. Jay Bhatt at CHOC. He attempted to scope my son and couldn’t get in at all. He said whoever said they did, didn’t. There is no way! There isn’t any room. He sent us immediately to CHOC. On the way, my son stopped breathing and I had to call 911 and get him to CHOC asap! There he got a CT scan that confirmed his diagnosis which is a super rare anatomical issue. He needed immediate surgery. Fast forward a few days, icu stays, months and months of suctioning every 3 hours, another surgery this year 2023 and he is doing well, thank GOD for Dr. Bhatt! As for Dr. Wilner- I do hope you read this and realize how awful it was for you to dismiss me and my son. He was in need of care immediately. I do hope you learn from this and do better. We will never ever go to you or refer anyone to your practice. I know the doctors at our pediatrician office did make a formal complaint against him. For anyone with children and ENT issues- please consider going to CHOC- I can’t even begin to stress how kind, knowledgeable, caring and fast that are at treating these conditions. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Dr. WILLNER is an excellent doctor. He was compassionate and thorough with the details of the sinus surgery he performed on our daughter. We couldn’t have asked for better doctor. We appreciate his bedside manner and professionalism.

Always professional and takes good care of me! Only drawback was 60+ minute wait with an appointment.

I was very pleased with the operations of the staff. This is the first and most important of first introduction to me. The staff reflects the attitude of the doctor. The medical assistant, the doctor's assistant, and the doctor made me feel most comfortable. Dr. Wilmer has much experience in his field. He is confident. I reserve any further evaluations until the results of my, actual, medical experience.

Came in for a Pre Op CT. I was in and out and and ready for my procedure!

I appreciated the precautions this office is taking with Covid. Both the NP and doctor we saw were very thorough, informative. They made me feel completely at ease in deciding to proceed with scheduling my son for surgery.

I love going to dr. Willner, he’s funny polite and takes his time when discussing my health

I’ve been his patient for a long time and I really like how he treat his patient. He examine you thoroughly and explained everything you need to know. Very nice person.

The clinic is very clean, the receptionist are very attentive, & you don't have to wait long at your appointment time
