Abandon by this doctor while actively in her care and she referred me to an ER, when my medical insurance changed. Unprofessional by allowing staff in and out of my room, while I was partially undressed. When I was just discharged from the hospital, Dr. Farin utilized that time to confront me about an issue her staff had. Which turned out to be a misunderstanding on the staff's part. She changed practice without informing me prior to surgery and her new practice was out of network. I was labeled a problem patient on documents and not given a reason for the label when asked. I suspect it's due to advocating for my medical needs and seeking clarity. Months after surgery, I'm still dealing with complications. Overall, I'm traumatized by this whole thing. Worst part about it is that I traveled long distant for her services based on reviews. Glad to hear Dr. Farin has helped others. She failed in my case.

I was labeled a problem patient on documents and not given a reason for the label when asked. I suspect it's due to advocating for my medical needs and seeking clarity. I followed Dr. Farin to her new practice and was with her for years when she was with Memorialcare Medical Group. She sends me to MRI's every 6 months and then reviews results with me for a non-cancerous lesion in my brain. It was discovered years and years ago when I was a Kaiser patient and my MCMG PCP referred me to Dr. Farin.  She is knowledgeable, personable, honest and truly cares about her patients. She is an excellent listener.  I hope I never need surgery but I know I'll be in excellent hands if that day ever comes.  Thank you, Dr. Farin!

My name is Francésca and I was introduced to Dr Farin by Andy the technician from Nervo after a successful temporary stimulator trial!  I had been in chronic pain for several years and saw three other Neurosurgeons, but wasn't totally convinced to get the surgery done until I met her!  She performed two successful surgeries on me...a spinal laminectomy and stimulator implant.   She is an amazing Neurosurgeon and she's sweet and kind.  I'm glad we met and I am 100% satisfied.  Thank you so much Dr Farin.

Dr. Farin is the best, she is a very busy Dr but she will always give you the time you need to answer all your questions . Dr. Farin is by far the best surgeon I could ever imagine!   She has done three successful back surgeries on me.  Her surgical skill and follow up if incredible, she doesn't miss a thing.   She is extremely intelligent and I totally trust her.  She always makes herself available for questions or appointments.   If you need a neurosurgeon she is the one to do it!    I have many doctors and not one compares to her when it comes to caring, empathy, compassion and making you feel safe.  I have known her for over 6 years and she has always been there for me! She will do the most conservative procedure to improve your quality of life.  Believe me she doesn't do it for the money, she does it because she cares and wants you to have the best quality of life with minimal surgery!

I consulted with Dr. Farin and was extremely impressed with her attention to detail and time she spent with me discussing my options. At no time did she push to perform surgery and encouraged me to look at all my options. Since I had already had back surgery for stenosis and the X-rays and MRI showed that more had developed so I opted to have the laminectomy in July of 2020. The surgery went very well, and I was up and out of the hospital quickly. It is now January of 2021 and am 98% pain free and my quality of life is much so much better than prior to the surgery. I am my own dedicated advocate to receive the best care possible and do research my doctors and procedures until my comfort level is high and I believe that I am making the best decision for success. I highly recommend and Dr. Farin and will see her again if I develop in new stenosis. Thank You Dr. Farin...
