The staff is friendly, courteous and has a good teamwork. Silverton, their director is knowledgeable, great bedside manner and a clear fitness goal. He utilized, effective and practical exercises to strengthen the back of my right knee, and ease the pain without risking injury. He provided me with different in- home exercises to improve my mobility. He made me feel, “I’m in good hands.” Thank you very much for all you do. I recommend this facility to my family and friends.

I came in to CA Rehab after knee surgery. Director Silverton and his staff put me back together. I'm very grateful for their professionalism and their effective therapeutic program. They're simply the best!

I had a total knee replacement on 5/26. I am very happy with my experience. Silverton Nguyen is knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Very careful to push my knee to edge and not over the edge. He explained every exercise, why to do it and the muscles it affects. AND what to do if I felt pain. I refer California Rehabilitation 5810 Downey Ave with confidence.

I've had a few physical therapists. These guys are the best! Rather than just giving you stretches or exercises and leaving you on your own, they monitor to make even slight adjustments to your form and make sure you're getting the most benefit. Super convenient that it's in a gym so all their equipment is available. I've seen great progress working with them.

Thank you to the staff California rehabilitation. Silverton and Kurtis have been very instrumental in my rehab. They challenged me in new ways that I would of never thought of and helped me to a speedy recovery. They are great therapist and take an active interest in you and see what the best approach for your injury might be. They gave me things to work on to increase my flexibility and balance. Silverton Nguyen is the best physical therapist I ever had

Silverton is amazing. I swear he can see my muscles, nerves and bones in full 3D in real-time in his mind's eye. Silverton is easily on par in this visualization skill with the best of the 14 Orthopedic and Neuro surgeons who are putting this Humpty Dumpty back together again.I was initially sort of alarmed that the clinic was inside a big health club, but it's a LARGE separate room with storage and PT tables, devices and a hand washing sink. A nice touch is that all the treadmills and stairclimbers anywhere near the clinic's shared big glass wall are facing away, so people working out aren't staring at your PT. But the tall glass wall makes the clinic nice and bright and it feels very open. Apparently PT patients can use the health club machines etc. if actively supervised by PT staff so it's an overall benefit to have the clinic in the health club. This statement assumes that you are fully vaccinated of course.Brittany has been very effective in my two visits so far for my Carpal Tunnel. She is clearly knowledgeable and also "looks inside " my hand and wrist to visualize as she moves my wrist or has me move my hand. It certainly seems so far that Brittany is also more skilled than others I've been to over many years.I'm not shy about praise when things are great, because I'm not shy about complaining if things are not good!Things are very good at the Lakewood and Long Beach offices of California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy !
