I am a nurse that used to work on the clinical side and I am a parent. I appreciate that we were told right away that Dr. Gretchen was running behind. However, we were actually seen in very good time. Dr. Gretchen was very attentive and made sure to check in with both of us parents to see if we were good with her plan. My son just happened to be sick during his annual physical, but we were able to continue the Physical and get all of our questions answered thoroughly. We appreciate Dr. Gretchen‘s bedside manner and how mindful she is with our son. She was also very gentle and thoughtful with her approach when doing her examination. The MA who took vitals and assessed our son was also the sweetest. She was warm, patient, offered meds but didn’t push us to take them. We recognize the kindness and the genuine care for our son. Thank you!

RACIST!!! She referred to my half Mexican child as ‘spicy’ which I brushed off as usual European American micro-aggressions but should have seen as a major red flag. At a later appointment I asked if she or another pediatrician could pierce my child’s ears, she made rude reference saying ‘I know it’s part of your culture…’ and attempted to shame me, my child, our cultural practices. I mean I’d be ‘antisemetic’ if a child of Jewish ancestry wasn’t sharing & depending on age is completely age appropriate and I said ‘oh of course she wants to keep it all to herself’ or made reference to the practice of metzitzah b’peh. I guess it’s ok when a person of European Ancestry makes these passive aggressive comments to children. After the 2nd incident we transferred and now see a BIPOC pediatrician.

Love her! So kind and great with my kids. She always takes her time to answer questions and discuss concerns. Love how thorough she is and great at advice.

Doctor Gritchen was very informative and answered all our concerns/questions. She is very polite and worked well with our newborn daughter. The office staff was very kind and patient. Highly recommend.

Meeting our New Pediatrician My 15 yo daughter has had the same pediatrician since she was two years old with Kaiser. We recently had to switch insurance and we were nervous about meeting a new pediatrician. The doctor beyond exceeded the expectations that my daughter and I had. She was extremely informative and took the time to meet us and explain any concerns my daughter had.

Excellent care. Thorough, helpful, active listener. Highly recommend.
