The procedure was painful because I was not adequately anesthetized, I also disliked Dr. Ung's method. Additionally, Dr. Ung was so brief regarding a medical issue that was concerning me. Dr. Nguyen is better, and I wish I would have selected him, if I knew my insurance covered him. I left the office quite upset.

Needed an emergency laser treatment the same day I was diagnosed. Her office got me in an she performed the procedure the same day! Kind, knowledgeable Doctor with a very nice personality! Highly recommend Dr. Ung!

I gave this a 4. Dr. Ung is fabulous. However I HAD TO WALK UP 3 Flights of STAIRS AS THERE WAS ONE WORKING ELEVATOR WORKING FOR SERVICE PERSONNEL & PATIENTS. IF I HADN’t WALKED I WOULD HAVE MISSED MY APPOINTMENT. I FEEL I SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED SO I COULD HAVE ALLOWED MORE TIME. In talking with employees we learned the elevators have been working sporadically for over 6 MONTHS. I WEAR A FOOT BRACE SO IT WAS AN EXTRA INCONVENIENCE!

I have had numerous appointments this year for eye shots. Everyone has been very helpful, courteous and friendly. I also appreciate the office closeness to my home.

Dr. Ung is one of the best if not the absolute best retina specialist in the South Bay! She is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and highly skilled. I had favorable outcomes in both of my surgeries with minimal to no complications, side effects or a need to return for follow-up work. Many doctors who have examined my retina since have all been very complimentary of her work (unsolicited). But, the greatest reason I highly recommend Dr. Ung is her bed side manners. She takes her time to explain your specific case to you, manage your expectations and also very thorough in her work. She makes time to answer any questions you may have and doesn’t treat you like another number. Her genuine kindness and care goes a long way and certainly sets her apart from all others in her speciality. My endless thanks to her and her team for the great work they have and continue to do for me.
