This place makes a hospital in a third world country feel like paradise. They messed with my medication so terribly that I was always in intolerable pain and some quack psychiatric nurse practitioner called me a "pill seeker" after speaking to me for about 15 seconds. Staff are sadistic and incompetent and almost got me sent back to prison. Sup Dr. Gesessee, I'm back on my klonopin and morphine so the Visteril and Trazadone went in the garbage. The baclofen too.
My son who is a drug addict and alcoholic finally had hit rock bottom after many years of use and decided he needed help. He contacted several rehabs and was told he had to go to detox first; thus his experience with College Medical Center. He had called them and made arrangements with Michelle to be admitted to their detox program. To make a long story short, after nearly three hours of waiting which included the lab personnel poking him many times to draw blood because they could not find a vein, they discharged him and told him he could wait for 8 hours in a nearby park and then try to go in again. I called the Center from Pennsylvania to see what had happened and all the rude nurse would tell me was that he had been discharged to go home. The man is homeless!!! The man is diabetic!!!! Oh, and by the way, he was discharged from a hospital in Santa Monica because he was suicidal!! Hopefully, he will survive and find another place to get help before he decides being clean and sober is not worth it! I will be getting in touch with my lawyer tomorrow.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
