I'm a first time patient. I'm an older female and I went in for a physical exam's. During the visit, I felt like Dr. Appleby was dismissive. I've had physical exam's before, so I'm familiar with what it consist of. She did not do a head-to-toe examination. She did not check my ears, nose, throat or eyes. She did not check my abdomen or my reflexes or balance. All she did was listened to my heart and lungs and recommended vaccinations. I was hopeful but turned out to be very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Dr. Appleby Dr. Appleby was very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Also, she did not keep me waiting, which I always appreciate. This was my first visit and she was very comprehensive in her questions. In addition, the reception and nursing staff were all very professional and friendly.

Dr. Appleby is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and attentive. She always takes the time to answer my questions. I'm 78 years old and moved to Long Beach about 18 months ago. I was looking for an internist and was referred to Dr Appleby. I'm glad to have found an excellent physician and would definitely refer my friends and family to her.
