I have been a patient of his for two years, he is so kind, passionate and trustworthy. He is very in tune with the needs of his patients, great staff and a great positive outlook. I was hospitalized four days at Long Beach Memorial for a torn hip flexor . The staff at the hospital set up an appointment with this doctor and he informed us that I should call his office for an appointment for a steroid injection in the pelvis. I called him over the next four days and only got an answering machine. Finally on the fourth day at last a receptionist answered the phone. She told me that even though the doctor had agreed to treat me that I needed a different level of care. Basically he just didn't want to administer the injection. So he kept me waiting in excruciating pain and didn't feel my care was worth his time even to notify me. Even after the physician at the hospital informed him of the horrific pain I was suffering. He let me to endure the pain when I could have made an appointment elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this person to treat anyone you care for. Callous and indifferent, a disgrace to his profession

Dr. Haj has been seeing my kids for years for various athletic injuries. They like him a lot. He has performed knee surgery on both of them. Visits before surgery and surgery all went great. Initial post-op visits were also helpful. Later visits (6 months post) were not very helpful in guiding the rehab or checking success of the surgery.

Don't understand why I bother making an appointment here at 3pm and dont get seen until 430pm. Worst waiting time ever! Once the doctor sees you, he is rushed and spends less than 5 minutes with you. Definitely do not recommend this place!

Dr. Haj performed ACL surgery on both of my children (my son when he was 18 and my daughter at 16). He is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He put them both at ease. He kept us informed and took his time in the operating room. The surgeries were both successful.

I saw Dr. Haj seven years when I had a rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder. The pain was so unbearable that I was glad to see him. I saw him for the first time as a new patient and his bedside manner and office is clean and he loves his patients. I was scheduled for surgery approximately four weeks after I saw him. I had surgery and was then discharged from the outpatient surgery deparrtment at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. I saw him a week later and he gave me a paper to go have Physical Therapy for six weeks. I went to California Rehabilition Therapy and Sports Medicine for my therapy - they are the Physical Therapy group that Dr. Haj refers his patients to. Everyone there was so nice and I felt at home.
