Dr Spielvogel continues to be a blessing to our family. After being my OB for my first child, and delivering me- to helping re-stitch me up after my second birth (since the delivering Dr did a terrible job), he shows much compassion for his patients. If it weren't for him, I would have left the practice after my second pregnancy. He never rushes you, speaks to you with respect and gives you options to do things your way as long as it is medically safe. He is such an asset to Memorial and to the women in the hospital giving birth. You know he is respected by his colleagues with what they have to say about him. Thank you for all that you do!

Amazing Doctor Dr. S just delivered my son 1/8/24 and made the experience incredibly amazing and continued to check in on me and my son afterwards. He is amazing, patient, understanding, thorough, knows his limits, and puts mama and babies safety first. By far the best OB I have ever had. I won’t be having anymore kids unless he is the doctor.

Dr Spielvogel was a godsend the day I delivered my daughter in March 2020. He was on call and just so happened to be the only doctor experienced with forceps in the hospital. My baby was facing the wrong way and her heart rate dropped a few times and even practically stopped. He came into our delivery room and explained everything that was going on quickly and clearly. He made me feel confident in him and once I agreed to him using the forceps to deliver her, I think she was out in a matter of minutes. I can't thank him enough.

Dr.Spielvogel saved my life and the life of my baby's in the OR 12 years ago. He took me in as a high-risk patient with remarkable and complex history. I will always thank God for his OCD-like laser focus and artistry. He is very detailed and attentive. He always asked if I had questions and never made me feel less than. Even though I left the OR with no uterus, he did everything he could -- no surprises, and clear, compassionate communication. He moves forward with technology and innovation, but not at the expense of timeless bedside manner in my case. We won't soon forget you.

Dr. Spielvogel was my OB with our twins in 2017-2018. He was amazing!!! Even though baby girl decided on an emergency c-section and he wasn’t able to deliver them, he was always supportive of my birth plan throughout and helped process everything after their birth. You’ll be in wonderful hands with him!
