Kevin Coppelson's Online Review Report Card

Cannot say enough positive things about Dr. C! I would go so far as to say that this man saved my life, and I don't think that's an exaggeration at all. After dealing with sleep apnea for 10+ years, my life was basically in shambles from consistent lack of poor sleep. I had tried multiple other treatments and doctors/ tonsillectomy with zero improvement. Until I found Dr. Coppelson/The Breathe Institute there wasn't really a single professional that could help me, and I was basically thrown a CPAP machine and told to get used to using it. After finally finding the Breathe Institute (thank god!) I was assigned Dr Coppelson as my surgeon to perform Maxillary Expansion surgery to correct my narrow palate which was causing the breathing obstruction/sleep apnea. I did a lot of research on this surgery prior, and I definitely had my concerns/anxieties/fears going into it. Dr. Coppelson not only did an *excellent* job on the surgery itself, but made himself consistently readily available via text and email to answer my (admittedly many) concerns throughout the entire process. I healed beautifully (I'm convinced as a result of his surgical expertise - it was really honestly insane how little swelling I had for such an intense surgery) and now 6 months out most importantly I am sleeping GREAT for what feels like the first time in my life. You simply can't put a price on sleep, and my life and health is expanding and improving drastically with each passing day. If you're looking for a good surgeon who cares for his patients and is clearly dedicated to his life's passion - look no further than Dr. Coppelson. You'll be in great hands.

I recently had Maxillary Expansion surgery performed by Dr Coppelson. I live in the Dallas Texas metroplex and my dentist recommended him for this type of procedure. My wife and I flew to LA to meet him and talk about the whole process to see if it's something I wanted to do. I was impressed enough that I scheduled the surgery for 7 weeks later. Having never had surgery for anything before, I was a little nervous. Dr Coppelson explained the whole procedure and was able to put my mind at ease with his calmness and assurance. It's now been almost 4 weeks since the surgery and I couldn't be happier with the results. There was so little pain after the surgery that I only took the pain meds for 1 day. I was able to eat soft foods after a week. All of the stitches had fallen out after 2 weeks. I feel only a slight bit of pressure after turning the expansion screw for about 10 minutes. Breathing through my nose has greatly improved, as has my sense of smell. I personally am very happy with the results of the whole process start to finish. Thank you Dr Coppelson!!

It does not get much better than Dr Kevin Coppelson. I had my last 10 teeth removed by him in 2021 In preperation for an awesome set of Premium Dentures. I am about 14 months out and loving it. He was so quick and professional he had those 10 mostly impacted teeth out in under an hour. Very professional and dedicated Doctor. I could not have been in better hands. I'm usually so frightened in a dentist office but he had em out so quick I did not have time to be afraid. I had this work done in his orange county office. This has changed my life for the better. I'm so grateful thank you Dr. Coppleson.

I’ve been going to Dr. Coppelson for years and always had a great experience. I have anxiety with dental work but he always make me feel comfortable. He is able to sedate me when I need to get certain work done which makes it so easy and painless. His staff is very caring and professional as well. I highly recommend!

Dr. Coppelson is the best oral and maxillofacial surgeon I have personally met. He not only is knowledgeable, but he will take his time to truly listen to you and explain his treatment. He is truly patient-centered, easing my nerves and helping me feel confident regarding his recommended treatment.

I was very nervous at first but Dr. Coppelson definitely put my mind at ease and checked up on me after the surgery. He was also available to answer any questions I had after the procedure. While I was being prepped for surgery, His assistants were talking to me and making sure I was comfortable. I would most definitely recommend coming here. Amazing staff and super awesome atmosphere. I feel deep appreciation for the attentive care I received from Dr. Coppelson and Liana. My wisdom teeth were very impacted and Dr. Coppelson was very careful during the whole process. During the surgery, Dr. Coppelson was explaining his following steps to let me know what he was doing. I felt extremely calm during the surgery because I knew I was in the best hands possible.
