I have no issues with Dr Bell, but his staff was horrible. They are incompetent and do not schedule correctly. I felt totally ignored.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable doctor, accommodating practice. I was seen really quick and all my questions were answered

DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR, FOR SOME REASON HE LOVES TO TAKE MY CASE ANYTIME LONG BEACH MEMORIAL ADMITS ME EVEN THOUGH HE SAYS HE WONT TAKE MY CASE HE ALWAYS DOES AND IS QUICK TO SEND ME HOME WITHOUT RUNNING ANY TEST 3 WEEKS AGO I HAD A BAD LUPUS FLARE AND A KIDNEY INFECTION THAT HE DIDNT CARE ABOUT EVEN THOUGH WHEN I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR CARE THEY KEPT ME FOR 3 DAYS BECAUSE MY INFECTION WAS BAD AND I COULDNT EVEN GET A REGULAR IV BECAUSE I WAS SO DEHYDRATED, BUT MY POINT IS ITS DANGEROUS TO JUST KICK PATIENTS OUT BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE THEM

Dr Bell was extremely engaging and very interested in my overall health and well being. It’s refreshing to meet an MD who is trying to keep you away from prescriptions as much as possible and promotes better living through self care and scientifically informed dietary choices.

I had pneumonia and he put me out and said he would never take my case and two months later I had a kidney infection and he did the same thing even though I clearly needed antibiotics by iv because the ones I had been on for two weeks weren't helping and I was told by another hospital that if I wouldn't have got a second opinion things could have ended in death due to me already having lupus and being in a current lupus flare and having a fever

If you really want help go to a different doctor, this man is mean and puts patients out just because he doesn’t like them. He has a bad bed side manner. Dr Bell has been a great doctor when it comes to easily manageable cases. For years he took care of my wife's father by doing the absolute bare minimum necessary. But I advise anyone with a serious case that is permanently life altering or fatal to seek help elsewhere. When my father in law developed dementia like symptoms, his advice became closer to that of a a high schooler who made the team. "Mr, you lost 89 pounds in two months because you stopped drinking alcohol. Also your wife needs to make more fulfilling meals." Because that makes any sense, they have been married for more than 30 years. Not sure why suddenly the meals she has made suddenly prevented him from gaining any nutrition or anything from those meals. The problems my Father in-law developed with his deluded thoughts were also to just be ignored. I understand that this would be the case for most dementia cases. But with how sudden it showed up, paired with the rapid weight loss, this all should have been a red flag that he needed help. All of these comments Dr Bell made were so childish and stupid, I really think doctors need to recertify to keep their job. Many family members went into details about the issues he was facing, but the absolute ham sandwich of a doctor decided to ignore them and repeat that statement I quoted again. My father in law probably will have this dementia for life because we had to transfer to a competent doctor who is taking his case more seriously. This doctor would have lost his job if it weren't for the help his assistant Mandy provides to this freaking dip. She was competent and very helpful when he wasn't.

I Love Dr Bell! He kept it real!!! For the first ever a doctor took his time going over all my lab results, teaching me about all of the harm I was doing to my own body, and explaining the outcomes of the changes he suggested for me. He’s an amazing doctor, IF you’re ready for the truth. If you’re looking for a doctor to sugar coat your health issues, or offer you a quick fix in a pill bottle, he isn’t the one. He believes in a holistic approach to health, and I appreciate that.

Dr. Bell is so amazing ,extremely honest, straight to the point .if you’re looking for a doctor who sugarcoats the truth, he’s not the one. I loved his approach and him telling me the truth about my health. Rather than offering me a bunch of pills, he helped me understand that in order to feel better, I have to do better. I also appreciated the time he spent with me, he didn’t rush me out of the room, thoroughly went over each and every lab result and explained what it all meant for my body.

First, Dr Bell seems like an ok Dr. I booked an appointment for a physical since I haven't seen a doctor in years. I didn't have any complaints, but I have a family history of stuff that seems like it should be monitored. The staff collected a copay for my appointment, which should have been red flag #1. I know my insurance, and my annual physical should be free. I talk to the doctor and he recommended labs and a follow up appointment. I go get my labs done, and in the meantime I get my EOB from my insurance company. They charged me for a new patient sick visit, not an annual physical. Guess that's red flag #2. I still go back to discuss my labs. The office calls and asks me to come in several hours later than my original appointment time. I'll call that red flag #3. I end up having to take the entire day off from work to accommodate them. I was waiting over an hour to see the doctor and I had to leave to pickup my child from school. The front desk asked if I could come back the next day instead. No, I can't just keep taking time off of work to sit in a waiting room. I know my results were abnormal because I can view them myself online, but I guess I won't be able to discuss them if the doctor isn't able to collect a copay and bill my insurance. Time to find a new doctor.
