Review Summary
MemorialCare received 64.3% positive feedback, with patients praising the friendly staff, online appointment booking, and efficient service. However, 35.7% of the feedback was negative, primarily citing long wait times, indifferent receptionists, and unsatisfactory doctor consultations. Overall, while the practice offers convenience and accessibility, it needs better time management and improved provider-patient communication.ScoreDoc Score

List of Memorialcare Medical Group - Long Beach's Reviews
We had 8:45 and 9:20 appointments for a quick 10-minute blood draw but didn't leave until 11:00. What should've been a short visit turned into a 2 hours long. Another appointment before us also questioned about the wait. When we asked about the delay, the receptionist (Asian woman) seemed indifferent, offered no explanation and acted like there was nothing to be hurry. Worse, we overheard her telling the phlebotomist we were "complaining." If your clinic has great reviews, I seriously doubt them. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place. And if you're planning to respond with the usual copy-paste generic acknowledgment, don't bother -- fix the real problems with staffing manner and scheduling instead.
Went into an empty lobby the first time and had to wait over a month to get an appointment. I show up 15 minutes late for my appointment (empty lobby again) and the front office lady looks at me like I am an alien and says “You’re late …the doctor (Zelznick) is very strict on his appointments, you need to reschedule.”
I came here for labs and arrived before my appointed time of 11 a.m. However, I wasn't seen until nearly fifteen minutes after my appointment when there was absolutely no one but me in the waiting area. What's the excuse there? If your patient makes the effort to get there early, then there should be no problem seeing them at the appointed time when she's the only patient in the lobby.
Went to sign up as a new patient. The facility is one year old and has a very convenient parking lot at the rear where the entrance is located. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Dr. Zeleznik was great and took time to review my health history.
I was seen today to have labs drawn. Yolanda Riviera drew my blood. She was professional, friendly, gentle and precise. I am not a fan of having my blood drawn but Yolanda had a calming demeanor. I will come here from now on for labs. Thank you Yolanda :)
Was not able to get an appt for 2 other area offices so went here. Was a little worried due to area known for horrid parking. They have their own dedicated patient medium sized lot. The front staff were very polite. I did have to wait over 15 minutes from scheduled appointment time but that is ok.The NP was polite and knowledgable.Everyone I dealt with was very nice and helpful.
Love this location. Run close to schedule, staff is friendly, they get everything done at this location from the visit to scheduling follow ups and vaccines
Guess I gotta make a review and be the first. I've been upset all day because of the lack of service I received so I am telling the internet. I do not make reviews ever. But went here for my severe depression and anxiety I've been experiencing. Had a doctor (I'll give her the dignity of not saying her name) tell me to "watch movies and spend time with family and friends". You think if I did that and felt better I'd make an appointment to see a doctor?? Very ignorant. Then said she would refer me to a physiatrist but I instead got a link to an online therapy program. Only positive thing is that the front of house staff was welcoming and nice. However due to the doctor, I will not be coming back here. Go to other memorial care facility. This one is not it.
5 star experience!
5 star experience all around. After my terrible experience at a private practice (not MemorialCare), I was on the Blueshield website looking for a doctor who could take my insurance and had availability ASAP. Enter MemorialCare. They have a website which allows you to book an appointment ONLINE without having to call an office and spend hours waiting for a rep to get back to you. I booked an appointment last Friday and was able to be seen by the NP, Pauline Sambeli. The clinic was clean, and very large. The receptionists at the front were so sweet, I had actually forgotten my insurance card, but they told me I could upload my information on MyChart which saved me alot of time. I waited about 5 minutes (to fill out my paperwork), and then was taken inside to get my blood pressure taken by a friendly MA before waiting for the NP to enter. Pauline is amazing! She asked me a lot of questions about my health and was very thorough, she also did something that most practitioners wouldn't have done. I had gotten my lab results from QUEST earlier this month and my surgeon hadn't gone through them with me, so I asked her to help me. She sat down next to me and went through what each of them meant, and carefully answered any questions I had. She then offered to run some more labs for me as the tests were missing some key labs. I said yes, and she also referred me to the PT that I requested, without any pushback. Imagine my surprise when you could ALSO get your labs taken then and there! The phlebotomist was also very sweet and got the needle in on the first try. I liked Pauline so much I booked an appointment with her next week for my wellness exam. = PARKING = Surprisingly parking is super easy and they have their own parking lot right behind! = Appointments/Updates/Changes = You can book everything ONLINE using MyChart. Also, you can see the status of your requests like my authorizations/referrals/upcoming reminders. Amazing! = CLINIC = Very quiet, and when I was there I only saw about two other patients. They don't have a long wait time, but still make an appointment to ensure you get seen on time!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
