Memorialcare Outpatient Surgical Center Long Beach's Online Review Report Card

Pre-op nurses scolded me. No communication amongst departments. Redundant requests for info. Harassing calls during the day and 6pm at the dinner table with family. My first surgery here, probably my last.

Nurses and doctors were very caring and supportive through the whole process. Billing could have been done better.

Received the best treatment at this surgical center from beginning to end. Friendly check in, attentive staff throughout, great surgeon. If you want to experience 1st class,always request this Memorial Care Surgical Center. You will not regret it.

Instructions were provided prior to surgery; everything was well explained and easy to understand. Financial arrangements and my cost were discussed beforehand as well. The actual wait time in the waiting room was fairly short. The office staff, nurses, anesthesiologist and my surgeon (Dr. Fishman) are all friendly, polite, knowledgeable and top notch. The nurses who attended to me were always concerned about my comfort, ask me if I had any questions or concerns and explained everything so that there was no misunderstandings. The facility itself is very clean. Once I returned home the facility contacted me later that same day after I got some sleep to make sure everything was okay and asked how I was feeling. They also contacted me the day after as well.

these people need to get over the fauci virus crap and a few of the staff need to stop being little dictators. masks do not work. it should be an individual decision not the democrats holding this power. otherwise the majority of staff are very friendly

My wife got a foot surgery today. Staff members are very professional, efficient, kind and friendly! Kudos to Kevin, Bianca, Mike, and all others whose name we unfortunately don't know. They went over and beyond. Highly recommended!

First off, this is not a Memorial Care facility. They just pay to use the Memorial Care name.Second, they overestimated how much my portion would be and refused to allow me to wait for the insurance claim to process before paying my balance. Their "policy" is the patient MUST pay their estimated portion prior to the procedure. Well now that the claim has processed, they owe me a refund >$200, but will i see that anytime soon? No, I have to wait at least 30 for them to process the payment from the insurance company. policy is harmful to patients. I've essentially loaned the over $200 and they can take their sweet time in returning it to me.

Family member had GI no real directions except for pick up your prescription. Show up no directions on waiting nobody spoke with me on how long to wait. Received a phone call telling me where to pick him up and they acted as if they didn't know who he was when I went to the pickup site. Worst customer service ever.

I had surgery yesterday, and they were the nicest staff I have seen in a long time. Their bedside manner is exceptional, from explaining what would take place. To making me feel at ease at a very stressful time. Dr. Holness was so professional, and very personable at the same time. Thank you to everyone. Hector G.
