Dr. Kapoor is a very good doctor. Hes good at explaining medical conditions. At my last visit, I met with his nurse practitioner, Casey, to discuss echocardiogram results. I decided to switch to another cardiologist for the following reasons: 1) His office location is too inconvenient for me to get to, plus its in a ghetto area of Long Beach; 2) Parking is NOT free; 3) I had to wait 45 minutes at the last visit, which I feel is unreasonable; 4) My blood pressure readings were ALWAYS much higher than my primary doctors; 5) I spotted a dead cockroach on the waiting room floor, which made me wonder if there were hidden colonies of roaches inside the working/exam areas of the office. His office would be OK to go to if one lives close by and has a longterm relationship with the doctor and his staff.

Expect a minimum of a month to return a phone call unless you are in the hospital. Does not explain much or answer questions clearly. Would NOT recommend at all. Almost had to file a complaint with the Medical Board.
