Fools Rush In - So BEWARE ! My wife has had two Movement Disorders for 46 years, and a third debilitating Neurological Disease diagnosed 8 years ago at Cedars Sinai. She is now 75 years old, is completely bedridden, and is suffering from end stage Combination Dementia. 2 years ago she was hospitalized for a broken hip, and Dr. Omidvar was assigned as her Neurologist. He was pompous, arrogant, stubborn, and totally disbelieving of the disease my wife had been diagnosed with. Yet when I asked what he thought she had, he said he “didn’t have a clue” ,and had nothing to offer for possibilities. All of the RX’s she had been taking for over 40 years, which were prescribed by a world renowned Neurologist, were abruptly stopped Cold Turkey, and she had her first seizure. And Dr. Omidvar put her on Anti-Seizure and Anti-Psychotic RX’s, which her Neurologist told her to NEVER TAKE, because the later was of no value to treat Delusional Delirium, and they cause Tardive Dyskinesia. I signed her out AMA - and we LEFT !

TERRIBLE NON-RESPONSIVE UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF SO CANT EVEN SEE DR Omid Omidvar OR ANY OF DOCTORS AT THIS LOS ALAMITOS OFFICE!! NEVER ANSWER OFFICE PHONE & NEVER RETURN MESSAGES! Terrible for a neurological office that handles critical medical condition patients - I have skull fracture / Hematoma/ brain bleed & sent by ER Dr referral to see this Dr ASAP but never even bother to call me back on 4 messages over 4 days I left listing this urgency !!! Finally on 5th day got through to office rep she started laughing about no call back & threw me on hold 30 minutes then said would only be able to get me into see Dr in 1 month earliest !! SERIOUSLY!! With urgent Dr referral for skull fracture / Hematoma/ brain bleed - 1 month wait ?? READ ALL THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS ON THIS OFFICE & GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Dr Omidvar is extremely knowledgeable, even about integrative solutions, which I love. He helped diagnose my condition accurately and he got my insurance to approve a treatment that really helped. I have been feeling so much better since seeing him, and I was quite debilitated at that time. His help has given me back the ability to work and to exercise without negative consequences. Thank you, doctor Omidvar!

We had the opportunity to meet Dr. Omidvar during an assessment for a clinical trial. He was very informative and quickly provided his opinion on the possible dementia types my wife might be experiencing. We got more out of talking with him for 15 minutes than we obtained in the last 3 years with two other neurologists.

I think Dr Omidvar is an angel, he is a doctor full of love and expertise and very kind. Dr Omidvar is full of responsibility to his patients . He saved my life and brought my family to peace. I am always grateful to him. I wish we had a world full of people like Dr Omidvar so we had a paradise. He was able find the roots of my disease one by one and treat them, which other doctors could not. He is very polite and humble and his behaves very friendly so that I easily made sure to discuss all my problems with him. I hope God will protect him and he will always be more successful and healthy.

Dr. Omidvar is an excellent doctor. He takes the time to listen to his patients and collaborates with them in developing effective plans to help them achieve their goals for improved health. Moreover, he is up to date on state of the art medicines and medical procedures.
