Peter Ferrera's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr Ferrera for over ten years. He thoroughly explains my diagnosis and formulates a treatment option best suited for my illness. He truly loves his profession, evident by his professional bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

I called two weeks for an appt and they never called me. I told them to leave a voicemail because i get 5-7 spam calls a day so maybe they did call but didn't leave a voicemail. They assured me that a voicemail would be leftI called again today and wasted 12 mins of my lunch waiting for someone to make a simple appt. I won't be calling again or making any new appts. Worst customer service...rather not know what being treated by the doctor is like if this is who he hired as his staff

Every time I've come to this office it has been nothing short of amazing service. The front desk staff is attentive, back office staff is very friendly, and Dr. Ferrera is extremely detailed. I've been a patient of Dr. Ferrera for 2 years now and I have to say that for the first time I have a doctor who takes his time with me, I never feel rushed. If you're looking for a doctors office that cares and makes you feel welcomed and at ease, I highly recommend Dr. Ferrera ... he will listen to you and take care of your healthcare needs.

I am very disappointed by this office. Dr. Ferrera made me wait 1 hour after my scheduled time to see me without giving me any warning that he would be running so late. In addition to this, he drew labs for me and stated that the lab results would be faxed over to me 2-3 days after I was seen. It has now been nearly a week and I have not received any phone calls or faxes related to my results. It takes a very long time to speak to a human on the phone because the moment you call the office, you are placed on hold. In addition, the office staff often leave the office and do not answer the phone after 4PM even though they post that their office hours are until 5PM. As someone who works in health care, I see why so many patients have little faith in our health care system as there are too many hoops to jump through to receive quality care. I recommend that this office improve its work flow and prioritize quality patient care over just staying afloat.

First, let me explain that Dr. Ferrera's office is an HMO not a PPO. The reason I stated this if you are in a PPO insurance program it seems to me, one receives better treatment, more one to one time.With this being said Dr. Ferrera, for which I have been going to for a while now, and I honestly don't know a better doctor than him. He's always It's hard to find a compassionate doctor who puts patients first.Dr. Ferrera takes his time with you. One of the most underrated things these days .He doesn't just do a physical checkup, he listens and sees the patient as a whole, not a paycheck. In my opinion, that's what a doctor is supposed to do to assess or diagnose a patient. He takes his time when he explains things or discusses things and I never ever feel rushed. You don't see that kind of care anymore these days.I have always been treated like I am the only patient they have and this type of attention usually only happens when you are a celebrity! I not only felt listened to, not rushed, and a valued patientIt felt nice to be treated with professionalism and care. He genuinely cares about his patients and is a very kind-hearted human being. I finally feel as though I am in great hands. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an awesome physician who will attend to their needs and make them feel like they matter.It's like stepping back in time and having a real doctor who cares and listens.Dr. Ferrera is very busy, but worth the wait.I feel confident sending friends and family to him because I know they'll be in great hands.

Going to see doctor is probably not something people look forward to (not I anyways). Yet, Dr. Ferrera has been very professional and caring to his patients. I witnessed him listening to his patients slowly explaining their issues with extreme patience, many of them are elderly and in pain. He treats them with equal kindness and care. His staff also efficiently schedule my appointments and referrals. Dr. Ferrera and his staffs make it a much better experience.

I just recently started caretaking for a friend of mine. She would always tell me how much she disliked this doctor. She felt he was not attentive to her needs. Today we had an appointment with the doctor and when we got there we were told that he was not able to see her. It's been months and the lady I take care of has been complaining that she doesn't feel good. The receptionist told us to go to urgent care and when we left and drove to urgent care, they told us they couldn't help us, because her blood pressure was extremely high to take her to emergency. We wasted our time to see a doctor that could not make his appointment, we were given bad advice and spent the whole day in emergency. I do not recommend this doctor!!! Stay away unless you are looking for substandard medical treatment.

Dr. Ferrera has been there for me and my family. He is always professional and very supportive in a crisis. He fights with you and gives you options that best for you.He diagnosed my wife years ago when she started have symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. One of the best diagnostic physicians we have met.The office staff have been very accommodating when Emergency situations occurs, need assistance of any kind. The office manager has been and always very professional and helpful. My family and I are grateful that we are in such great hands.
