I had a broken vertabra. Dr. Yuan knew of a simple operation to relieve pain and help healing which he performed.

Dr. Yuan is truly a great surgeon who I have been seeing for at least 10 years. I initially saw him for lower back pain which I was sure I would be needing surgery. He did prescribe physically instead, he didn't feel I was ready for surgery at that time and he was correct. When it was finally affecting my active lifestyle I saw him again. After reviewing my xrays it was decided I was ready for surgery. I just had a knee replacement in January and I was concerned about a second major surgery in the same year, the month of August. Dr. Yuan said my back was to the point it was critical that I have the surgery at that time. Now, 7 months later I am so glad I had it. I am still on the road to recovery but it was the best decision I ever made with the best surgeon in Long Beach. His office also is equipped with an Xray department, MRI and a physical therapy facility all in one building, a great convenience. By the way, after my surgery I ran into quite a few people asking me who my surgeon was and we discovered he was also their surgeon. Like I said, one of the best in Long Beach.

I saw Dr Yuan on google when i was looking for a very good Ortho Spine Surgeon near my place. His reviews and ratings are very good.I am very happy with Dr. Yuan and his assistant Jennifer both amazing. They take time with you and answer all my questions,very knowleageable, and genuinely cares. I am now getting care at his clinic Including PT. Love this place! Highly Recommended!

The office staff made it possible to see dr. Yuan the same day I needed it. They were accommodating to the fact I was having back pain. They were extremely helpful.

Dr. Yuan has been working with me on many alternatives to surgery for several years. I’ve been in pain and have had back problems for years. After exhausting all other resources, I have decided to have the back fusion surgery. I appreciate the fact the Dr. Yuan did not push surgery and was patient with me to work through all other options first. Now, I’m totally comfortable with this procedure and realize this is the best option for me. I know I’m in the best hands possible for this procedure!

Dr. Yuan is awesome! He does not believe in doing surgery unless it is absolutely necessary. He takes time to examine you and hear what your complaint is. He goes the extra mile for his patients.Dr. Yuan's team are the best that i have encountered. Very caring and patient.

Dr. Yuan is the man. Great Bedside manners, truly cares and listens to your symptoms, puts a plan in place as if it was his own life; I’m so grateful I have him in my corner. Back surgery was a success!
