Reddy Urgent Care Downtown Long Beach's Online Review Report Card

This place is filthy, looks like it has never been deep cleaned. The receptionists are all rude, and do not wear their masks. If you need treatment do not come here, there’s a reason why it’s empty. They cannot treat you for anything, and do not do any form of blood work or testing here. The doctors are untrained to treat patients and refuse patients if they can’t treat them.

I went to this Urgent Care because they accepted my insurance and I'm working out of town. This place was terrible. The receptionists were not polite or helpful. I was the only person in the waiting room and they just left me there. When I asked how much longer until I would be seen, the receptionist just got up and walked away! Didn't answer me. Then about 5 mins later she said maybe 15-20 mins. They also do cosmetic procedures and they DON'T have a DOCTOR on staff, it's just a nurse. Go to another place if u can.

Office is unorganized. I called and asked in advanced when lunch hours were so I could avoid going during that time and was told that everyone is back from lunch by 130. I arrived at 215 and was told the doctor wouldn't be back until after 245 from lunch and there is a long wait before me. She asked if that was okay and I said no, that's why I had called.

The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars because most of the staff has been helpful to me in the past . But the fact that they have this one PA that has very bad bedside manner and does not listen carefully to their patients I will no longer come here if I need it. I went in for ear pain and a weird black and pus like discharge. I told the PA I did go swimming half a week prior and our swim suit smelled funny this time. She looked annoyed at my suggestion and very briefly looked inside my ear. Said she just saw it was red. But why couldn't she take my word for it that I literally pulled out something pus like and black. She looked as if she didn't believe me. And told me " it's probably something viral. You do have a cut in you ear but that all I see. " fast forward three weeks later because in the middle of the 3 weeks my ear felt better for a few days. One day, after the 3 weeks my ear felt completely full and even more painful then ever. Rather than, trying to go to another urgent care I made an appt with my primary which was a week out. I couldn't wait and in the middle of it all purchased a ear cleaning camera and what did I see? A full on raging fungal infection blocking my whole ear drum . Not only did the drops she prescribed the wrong treatment and are not the drop you use for a fungal infection. But it provided a nice wet environment for it to thrive! I have seen another PA there before and she is very nice and caring. This one seems annoyed and bothered.

They want to charge $50 Urgent Care when you have Blue shield PPO when Memorial Care Charges $25 this place tries to rip you off.

They didn't know anything and completely diassapointed me. The lady at the front desk couldn't even find my members ID number and had no knowledge of anything.

If you have an urgent need or an emergency they will not see you past 6:30 even though they close at 7. Unethical to turn away patients that are in need in my opinion

I like this place it’s always fast and they always take care of you

Magda and Brenda were incredibly helpful and kind to my mother. They were both very patient and considerate of her. 10/10 experience with them and she is very thankful for them. She highly recommends this urgent care.
