Luckily my Orthopedic Surgeon Blue Cross first referred me to, said this is a job for Dr. Ahn, as he is a Hand specialist. He is the best around.Cy

I had been to a hand specialist previously and was not 100 per cent satisfied. I tried Dr. Ahn, and I have now found my orthopedist. His office is friendly, clean, and well-run. I was not only Not kept waiting, but I was taken early. X-rays were done, I waited another few minutes, and I was called back. Dr. Ahn was there within five minutes. He is kind, soft spoken, explains all options completely, and gives the patient the choice at this point. I have a trigger finger, and I chose the cortisone injection. We'll see how that works, and I do have another option if the results don't last lone. I was very impressed with the entire visit and the procedure. I recommend this office and Dr. Ahn highly.

Dr Richard Ahn is the best. He is an excellent doctor before surgery, during surgery and after care.

Dr.Ahn is just incredible...I had bilateral carpel tunnel...he helped me along the way until it got to surgery.He operated on my left then three weeks later my right,I am so grateful to him.Not only is he an incredible surgeon..he is an amazing human with such a kind soul.I truly can't thank him enough for what he did for me,no more pain and minimal pain with the surgeries.Highly recommend!!!

Sadly I am delinquent in writing this as spontaneously as I had planned but nonetheless - do want to share. I broke my forearm 4+ years before I found Dr Ahn. My Newport Beach orthopedic doctor put a cast and saw me for about a year following the break. Xrays kept showing my bones were not growing together in all that time (unionized) - I have rheumatoid arthritis and don't heal well. For those 4 years until I found Dr Ahn, I continually had pain and difficulty carrying any weight. Dr. Ahn performed surgery on 1/7/20 inserting a plate and screws and my arm is absolutely amazing now! Absolutely no pain and the strength I have in lifting and carrying items is unbelievable!! So much more than possibly hoped for !! Dr Ahn was confident, skilled and extremely professional. Also want to give attention to the anesthesiologist he selected for my surgery. She was so astute and amazing to her choice of anesthesia due to my health issues, and pain and recuperation were totally minimized

Dr. Ahn is the most amazing doctor I've ever had. I severely broke my wrist and my insurance (luckily) referred me to Dr. Ahn. During my initial appointment with him, he examined my wrist and explained all my options. He was kind, caring, and he is clearly an expert in his field. Together, we decided surgery was my best option. After surgery, he gave me his cell number and told me to reach out anytime, for any reason. I was in pain after surgery and I called Dr. Ahn at 11:00 pm. He was so kind and willing to do anything to help to ensure I was not in pain. Further, I had issues with getting my pain medication from the pharmacy and he took the time to call them to ensure I had access to my medication. Although my break was bad, he repaired my wrist wonderfully and thanks to him I have full use and mobility of my wrist and hand. I have never had a doctor put that amount of time, clarity, and knowledge into my care before Dr. Ahn. I 100% recommend Dr. Ahn, he is an expert in his field.

Dr. Ahn rushed to make decisions about my treatment/surgery and didn't address all concerns. There was poor communication and ultimately he walked out on me in the hospital at surgery time due to my mental health conditions. He doesn't care about his patients and is not diligent in determining treatment or proper preparation and care for surgery, resulting in a lot of wasted time and money. I would not recommend using Dr. Ahn due to his insensitive reaction to my particular disabilities.
