Robert Comer's Online Review Report Card

I began seeing him in 2009, my husband in 1997. Dr Comer is an awesome dr and we really trusted and valued his opinion. He is very thorough but clear your schedule for several hours. If you appt is at 9, you wont see him until after 10 and you wont leave until close to 11. He's a little brass but an overall good Dr. He's really busy so if you need an appt be prepared to wait weeks unless you want to see his less than skilled PA Artie. This PA misdiagnosed me twice...one with a heart murmur that only he heard through a stethoscope but was never mentioned by a cardiologist or found on a 12 lead ekg. He also said I had skin cancer and didn't think I needed a referral to a dermatologist but after requesting a referral he finally gave me one only to find out it wasn't skin cancer it was scar tissue. That all being said, our opinion changed after covid began. Our whole family had a very mild case of covid which flared my husband's asthma. Dr Comer proceeded to call him effing stupid for not getting a covid shot. He then turned very cold and told my husband he probably had irreparable lung damage from his stupid decision and handed him a referral to pulmonary Dr and walked out of the room without saying anything. My husband went to another Dr where he was placed on an asthma medication for 3 weeks and he's now fine. Our trust and faith was really lost after cussing at my husband for something that he had advised my husband differently at the beginning of covid.

Dr. Comer is the Best!!! He has been treating my husband and myself for over 20 years. We are very Thankful to Dr. Comer and his team. They have always been there for us. You are ALL Awesome!!!

We have gone to Dr. Comer for years. He is very smart in his awareness of medications, as well as very good in patient care.

Dr.Comer is one of the best doctors around and the last of his kind. You would be lucky to find a doctor these days that shows the care and attention to detail that Dr. Comer does. I have been with Dr.Comer since 1998 and lost him when he was no longer part of the insurance my then employer was connected with. I still came to Dr.Comer and paid cash out of pocket because he is that good. The staff is great as well. I highly recommend Dr.Comer.

This is a great doctor and his staff is far beyond good they are great. They will work with what ever Insurance you have or they will tell you that they can not. I would recommend this Dr. to anyone and have done so. Ty

Wonderful doctor, have been a patient for many years. Keeps current on latest medical developments. Great communicator in that he explains in detail your medical problem and the reasons for his prescribed treatment.

My work changed medical providers, I was with Kaiser and had to find a new Doctor. I chose Dr. Comer because he was walking distance to where I live. On my first initial appointment, I was in the exam room waiting for over 45 minutes for the doctor to show up. No one came in and said there was a delay, would be a delay or offered any apology for lateness. I believe I was his first appointment of the morning. This did not include the waiting time I had upon arrival in the lobby. I had all of my meds and reviewed my medical history. He was overly touchy which was creepy to me. Lab work scheduled, and other tests - fine I know the routine. Those went well what did not go well was getting my medication in order. If he chose to alter or change or stop medication, I believe that should be done in consultation in the exam room. he submitted 2 meds for the same issue, a new one and the former one - which if dispensed would not have been good. It went downhill from there - moved Dr immediately.

Best doctor around. Smart and cares about his patients.
